Stopped by and had a frustrating experience. The staff making food acted annoyed when we asked questions and seemed more focused on their personal conversations than helping customers. The manager-whose name I believe was Malakia-was especially rude and dismissive, coming across as completely uninterested in addressing concerns or managing the team professionally. My daughter's bagel wasn't toasted, and the chicken tenders tasted like processed filler, not real chicken. The only positive was that my other daughter enjoyed her mozzarella sticks, which at least tasted fresh. I won't be coming back to this Wawa. OK well first, I'm from TEXAS, BABY! Now I got that out the way, if you don't know, now you know I'm coming from the land of Buc-ee's! You can't fully compare Wawa to Buc-ee's but the idea of a convenience store offering more than the norm is what they're both good for. I came here to get a "shortie" which I want sure what the name actually meant. I went inside to get my hero/hoagie/sub- call it what you like. A shortie is the the length of the "hero" bread- I got an "Italian"'(with the variety of meats and lettuce, tomato, peppers etc. The "convenience store" basically has all that you need and the employees are very friendly. They sell gas here as well (although I didn't need any today). They have many locations around which is nice to know. They have an outside area where you can sit and enjoy your food and drink. Wawa has been such a welcome addition to Florida, especially for transplanted northeasterners like myself. Being originally from New Jersey, I have always been a huge fan of Wawa. When they came to Florida, it was genuinely a time of celebration. If you were unfamiliar with Wawa, think a gas station on steroids. Not only do they have plenty of gas pump, but the inside has not only the usual convenience store items oh, but they are best known for there food that is prepared twenty-four hours a day. They're primarily known for their subs, or as they call them, hoagies. Whatever you want to call them, they are definitely good. As an added bonus, every year they have what they call Hoagiefest, where they offer their subs (or hoagies) at a sale price. All in all, Wawa is a great place to go for gas and perhaps a little snack get you through until your next meal. I love me some Wawa. It's just fun saying the name. I was first introduced to this gas station/convenience store about eight years ago close to the Jersey shore. Everyone was going crazy for this and I had no idea what the excitement was about until I walked in to the Wawa. It had everything and so much more that I could have ever expected. I ordered a sandwich which was touch screen and the guy behind the counter made my sandwich. As we all know this feature did go to all the other Wawa's that have been opened since. I feel pretty bad for the people who have no idea how to use this method of ordering when they first come in. You take your ticket, bring it to the counter, pay for it and bring the ticket back. You stick it in the basket and pick up your meal. I always wondered if everybody was honest enough to pay for it since there's really no way of knowing if they did indeed pay. Not everybody can be honest. The food is absolutely delicious, I'm a big fan of the Philly cheesesteak. The fruit smoothies taste like fruit smoothies and not loaded with yogurt like most fast food places. I can't even express the joy I feel when walking to the counter and seeing a cream cheese filled pretzel. They have a warming station at the check out which in the morning they have breakfast sandwiches and in the afternoon they have different kind of pretzels. Many other options but you need to try the cream cheese stuffed pretzels. My girlfriend I drove around to all the Wawa's bought all the cream cheese stuffed pretzels and then just continue to drive around. The gas prices are unbeatable and I'm sure they hurt all the other gas station prices that charge so much that they have to bring it down to compete with Wawa. Serves them right! So, normally I would give WAWA 4-5 stars for their food, but I need to write a review about their new hot turkey gobbler sandwich. I thought this would be the greatest tasting wrap with all the ingredients I love together: hot turkey with gravy, stuffing, and cranberry sauce. I was really hungry and was looking forward to what I thought would be satisfying and tasty. WA WA really missed the boat on this one! 3/4 of this wrap is mushy stuffing, 1/4 was turkey with gravy, and a smidgen of cranberry sauce. All the turkey was jacked up on one end so after you ate the turkey, all that was left was the rest of the ingredients, with the mushy dressing being the primary ingredient that was left. So, Wa Wa, this wrap has the potential to be really deliciously satisfying, but you are going to have to obviously NOT be so cheep on the turkey and evenly distribute all the ingredients in a layered effect throughout the wrap. People DO notice when your food is QUALITY..and they also notice when they are being jipped as well. If I happen to order this again and it is the same way, I will get a refund for sure! read more

My coworker and I came in around 4am after a shift to get some sandwiches. We ordered in store, my chicken sub that had 4-5 toppings was nothing but chicken and mayo, my coworkers sandwich was wrong as well! There were maybe 2 other customers in the store so they weren't busy. When my coworker asked for extra butter for his bread bc the computer didn't give us that option she was so nasty about it. 2-24-23 I am visiting the West Palm Beach area this weekend and staying across the street from Wawa. I have never visited this store but I have heard about it as it compares to the store I have employed at for many years. I decided to visit and purchase a couple of items . It was stocked and served many items found at any convenience store, the technology is repeating what every store has acquired but still doesn't speed up service or makes things any better for store. I am all about good quality not quick and easy. I ordered a Matcha latte and the two men behind the drink counter did well with the abundance of orders coming in and same with the deli staff. Again, it's not about the quickness but it's about the quality of product that is given to the paying customer. Good quality will repeat customers and bring new ones, growing the business success daily . While I was patiently waiting I noticed counters and floors needed cleaning and assisted with picking up some trash and disposing in proper bins. Having enjoyed many Wawa's across the country I can pretty much say this is probably the worst location which is a shame because it is a realitivity new location. Consistently the store, picnic tables, restrooms and condiments counter are always messy. Last time I went the line for the cashier was to the beer cooler and cashier more concerned with taking off mask to eat/drink between checkouts. The workers there were very disrespectful to the customers and not what you expect from Wawa. Seems like this location is just unmanaged or mismanaged and the people they employee just dont care. Thank god this is near the PBI airport in FL! Flight lands around 230, of course this is the only spot open that I can get some cosmetic items, snacks, and a hoagie. And props to the staff for still being energetic and making my sandwich in a quick fashion with a bunch of tickets in front of me. Side note, some dummy in front of me ordered an Italian but forgot to tell them she's vegetarian. She gets her sandwich and asks if it's vegetarian. They reply it's an Italian. She asks if it's vegetarian. Obviously she wasn't smart enough to read the touch screen menu when she ordered or didn't know the meaning of ham, salami, and capicola. So they mentioned to her that there's a vegetarian sub which that had to remake for her. I like that this location is near the airport and 95. Stopped here early in the morning to get a sandwich for lunch. Quick service as usual even in a busy location. Lots of parking and easy to get to. I'm basic so I got an oven roasted turkey sandwich - the shorty size because that's all I needed. I just get provolone on it and I'm done. Then top that off with a complete new definition of "gas station food". Fresh salads, soups and prepared fruit and all the expected standard snacks and drinks, along with ice cream that they are particularly known for as they started years ago as a "dairy" store. Then come the sandwiches; promptly made to order on "in store" fresh baked bread, along with easy to use automated ordering kiosks that allow customizing your order. Pictured is the Italian Hoagie topped with sweet peppers - filling, delicious, and only $5.69 for the larger size. BTW, this store is surprisingly close to PBI airport. Typical WaWa offerings, but here's a specific list of the good and bad: -Good - there is a bunch of extra space and parking to the East Side & South Side. You can enter/exit the store from the South side as well. -Bad - not enough cashiers. Lines were backing up and had to wait maybe ten minutes to check out. Tip: If you are very poor and really hungry, you can order just a sub roll (the long bread that the subs come on) for like 80 cents from the computer screens. This is the second occasion I've had an issue with Latoya who ironically was training two new employees, there is absolutely no quality of customer service. This location gives wawa a bad name. I'm still not sure why we're all supposed to lose our one and only mind when a Wawa opens in our area, but I guess I'm in the minority. It's a gas station with a convenience store and a short-order sandwich counter. Never ordered food from a Wawa. Just doesn't seem like the right thing to do. But, again, maybe that's me. Lots of gas pumps - 10 or 12, maybe...??? - and the price for a gallon of gas usually is a few cents cheaper than the national chains in the area. And they offer a free air hose, too. So, those parts of the experience certainly are appreciated. As for the rest...??? I'm at a bit of a loss. I just don't get the unending, bombastic, euphoric excitement about Wawa. Wawa is a usual staple with me. So happy they came to Florida. Just like ever one they are all set up the same, the difference is staffing. The food staff here fooled around with each other rather than make orders. What would normally take 5 minutes to make now took 10-15.
