Five stars for the Wawa in Sanford. I come here often to get my gas coffee and sandwiches. Today I got the combo of roast beef sandwich and sued for $6. They made this sandwich perfectly, and toasted up for perfection! The chicken noodle soup was amazing,. You wouldn't think a place like Wawa would have such good soup but they do! The folks in here are always friendly and helpful. And today I also enjoyed a 99 cent coffee! Come get ya some! read more

Wawa has certainly expanded its presence throughout Florida and that is certainly good news for Floridians, but for Floridians who relocated here from eastern Pennsylvania and New Jersey, it was bringing a piece of home down here to the Sunshine State. Wawa is so much more than a simple gas station. Yes, it features a multitude of gas pumps offering competitive prices and I applaud them for offering air for your tires from an air pump that does not require a payment. Should be common sense, but most gas stations have decided that they can generate a few more dollars by charging people to put air in their tires. Wawa goes above and beyond in customer service by letting people get air without a surcharge. But for me and I would hazard a guess that endears Wawa to most of us is the food that they offer, mostly their subs (what they call hoagies due to their original locations). These subs, er, hoagies are freshly made 24/7 and many, myself included, have ended an evening festivities at a Wawa grabbing an end of the night snack in the form of one of their subs, hoagies, or whatever you want to call them. They have both hot and cold sub/hoagie things, as well as other foods like breakfast sandwiches, bagels, bowls, etc. I also have always liked their pretzels, available at the cash registers. Oh, speaking of their food, keep an eye out for Hoagiefest, where they offer any sub at a discounted price. Truly a good deal. So, yes, I recommend Wawa. I would almost climb a mountain to scream its praises for the four winds to carry to the far planets of this world (perhaps even going so far as to reach my home state of New Jersey). This may be the first time I had a less than perfect experience at a Wawa, primarily because (1) the order for a sandwich took almost 25 minutes to come out and (2) they missed the pickles I had ordered on the side and it wasn't until later that I realised the missing pickles. It might not have been such an issue if I hadn't been in a rush but I was and it made for an unpleasant experience. I had never heard of Wawa prior to a few years ago, but now they seem too be all over Florida. When I found out this Wawa was going to open, I was super excited because it was going to be relatively close to the house. And plus the nearby gas stations could use some competition. The Wawa here is super clean and nice. What I love about here is you can get coffee and well as food, and it's anytime day or night. So if you want a sandwich in the middle of night? Done and done. They also have lots of coffee choices including flavored coffee and coffee drinks. I'm a huge fan of their flavored coffee and if you bring in a refillable container, you can get a ton of coffee for really cheap (they also sell them if you don't have one). One of my gripes is the sandwich service can be slow and there's no where to really sit while you're waiting around, so be prepared! I recommend downloading the app because they have deals all the time that you can use. read more

I can't believe I've been to this Wawa location a thousand times before and have never written a review for it. This store is about 5-6 minutes from my house right off the main road so the location is perfect. It's usually very busy but there is ample parking on both ends of the store. Once you walk inside, the cafe for food and drinks is right in the middle. There are several kiosks to order food or beverages. Every time I order something, it's always ready in just a few minutes. The workers are pretty efficient. The coffee station has many different kinds of coffee and flavored drinks. There is plenty of creamer and sugar and it had all your basic coffee condiments available. What I really love is that they have tiny sample cups with lids so you can try before you buy! Great idea Wawa! The checkout lane is usually fast but can sometimes get backed up. Not sure why they only have 1-2 cashiers on hand when the store is very busy during daytime hours. Nasty bathrooms. Look like they've never been cleaned. A sign on the door "No Public Restrooms". I thought this may be to discourage vagrants but after using their restroom I believe it is actually an effort to keep the public from desease and infections due to the lack of hygiene. Wawa, really? This used to be a chain that was a notch above. A clean and safe place to get some gas, food or coffee. This location is a s$it hole. I live near this location so i visit quite often. A lot of the time, everything is good, no issues at all. Other times, like today were pretty unacceptable. I ordered a milkshake, paid and waited. and waited... and waited. I saw others come and go. New orders were taken care of while mine ticked on the screen. 25 minutes later. My shake was being made. There was another gentleman waiting for his order to be made as well. He had to have waited around 15 minutes for his to be completed. I called and made a complaint, they responded in a professional and respectful way. With all that being said, this location still values and cares for their customers. this was a hiccup, and im sure they will resolve all issues presented. read more

The customer service here is always great but the fact that the managers constantly allow groups of men to stand in front of the store and sexualize every woman that walks by is what deters me from this location every time. On a daily basis, groups of men who sometimes don't even patronize the business stand in front every morning and make nasty, sexual comments about women as they walk past. It has been brought to the managers attention on several occasions and the men will go away for maybe a couple days and then they are right back at it. I know several of my friends who won't visit this location because they are tired of being harassed when they just want to make a coffee run. It's unfortunate because it's in a convenient location but I'd rather visit another Wawa over being sexually harassed every single day. read more

For some reason there are two listings for this Wawa. The one with the 25th Street address is correct. Anyway, I've been coming to this Wawa for probably six months. It's one of the busiest locations in Sanford. It's convenient for me because it's only a few miles from my apartment. Cops like to congregate here, especially first thing in the morning. There's a lot of space to this location; pretty easy to get in and out. They should've put the tire pump in the back, though. It's next to one of the entrances and cars can form a line that blocks it on certain days. Interior is pretty nice. Usually pretty clean. Restroom is usually pretty good. All staff members I've dealt with have been pretty cool. For some dumb reason the gas prices sign is low to the ground and the prices are actually obscured by the bushes. WTF!? This must be some kind of city ordinance because 7-11 and Shell also have these low profile signs. If that's the case, they could either remove the bushes or keep them trimmed more often so you can see the gas prices are. Though this particular location usually has the cheapest gas in all of Sanford. read more

I love this WaWa, well mainly because it's so close to me! I remember when it first opened up, we couldn't wait to get up earlier just to pick up coffee here. My son attended Seminole High school and we have to pass it on the way. It gets pretty busy in the mornings but thank God I decided to stop by right after lunch hour. Parking was easily available, there where a few tables outside still empty. When entering, the place where they make your orders are straight ahead and they even have a fresh to go station (fruits, veggies, wraps) basically where you would find the healthy eats. Me? I always head straight to the monitor touch screen for my order and order my favorite, chicken corn chowder. At this location, I know they serve it only on Tuesdays, Thursday's, and Saturdays. Anyway, chicken corn chowder is my favorite. For all soups they offer the 3 sizes for: $2.49, $3.49, and $4.09. Their soups taste nothing like it was canned, but entirely homemade. It's filled with chunks of corn, chicken, potatoes and some carrots in a thick seasoned broth. I've never been so crazy for soup, just only when it comes to chicken corn chowder from this place. Just A-MAZ-ING! It's been awhile since I ordered their coffee but on special days like Thursday's they usually offer any size for $0.79, I haven't came in to purchase lately. But I ordered the medium size chicken corn chowder and turkey hoagie shorti. They offer 2 sizes for their hoagies: Classic (10 inches) for $5.49 and their shorti (6 inches) for $4.39. I love their sweet peppers, how the cheese is melted right on top of turkey, and their warm buns. Did I mention they make their own bread too? Anyway, their deli meats taste slightly seasoned and the combination of the sweet peppers with honey mustard makes me happy. I usually order extra toppings and so my hoagie gets so messy when I try to eat it. No matter how busy it gets, this location stays clean, well stocked, and the isles are neat, along with the drink stations, surprisingly. The ordering stations are so very convenient, they have about 5-6 of them and the wait is fair. I love how they go the extra mile for convenience by offering hot food items right next to the register, in case you're in a hurry. Across the street a new 7- Eleven was built but they don't offer seating or tables, made to order food via touch screen. Made to order Mango or strawberry smoothies and the coffee costs less here, also the amount of available gas pumps just gives this place an extra one up compared to their competitor. read more

This isn't your regular gas station!! This is the gas station others should try to be!! A couple weeks ago I was down here on family vacation and my roommate raved about the Wawa gas stations. She said that they had the best ice coffee ever. I just thought to myself that this was just any other gas station, but boy I was wrong! I made my own iced coffee, this was my 1st time makin it myself. They have a variety of flavors! It was so delicious!! And then, I ordered my hoagie on the touch screen monitor. This was also a 1st for me!! The hoagie was delicious too!! It was very fresh!! I have to say the service was fast as well. Also, I like how there was an outside dining area on the side of the gas station! I hope Wawa is planning to expand their businesses within the Ga/Sc area because I can guarantee they will gain more fans!! read more
