The food selection is poor, and the guys who work there are rude, obnoxious, and act rather juvenile to be working at the counter of what was once a thriving and busy deli. This is especially true of the two guys who usually work in the evenings. Basically it's about their attitudes and treatment of customers: they act as if the customers owe them something. They also have selective and random pricing, especially of cold cuts and meats. Food that is one price one day is suddenly increased. Food behind the counter and a lot of food on the shelves is not labeled, so they often decide on prices on a whim, and overcharge in the process. Not a good place to shop.

My go to-is Two eggs on a roll, light mayo, a little bit of salt and pepper. It comes out perfect every time. The eggs are good, the roll is a little bit crusty, but not too soft or not too hard, they always get the mayo, salt and pepper just right. As of March 2025, they do have a very small "egg surcharge", but it's understandable. Even with that, the price is very reasonable. Especially for such good quality. I was really craving a bacon egg and cheese and wow, this place really delivered. (I haven't tried the other items from here but I will definitely return) I typically get a BEC on an everything bagel toasted, SPK (salt, pepper, ketchup) plus mayo. The bagel itself was great and the bacon was nice and crispy (they don't skimp on the bacon). $4 and you will be left happy and satisfied. Plus there's a parking lot!

The store is very bet and orderly, the employees are friendly and more importantly, the prices are reasonable. On my last visit, I bought a cup of French Vanilla coffee ($1.79 for an extra large cup), but it wasn't exactly the best, but it did come with a free bottle of water which came in hand later. Overall, clean, fairly priced store located in Kensington. After pumping your gas or just on the hunt for some snacks, this is your place, but stay away from the French Vanilla coffee.
