Usually a great experience, however getting a quick sandwich from the Wawa turned bad when I unwrapped my sandwich, ate nearly half to start chewing on something hard- thank goodness I didn't break a tooth or even worse swallow this giant, copper and metal faded nasty staple in my sandwich. There's no way it could have got in my sandwich anywhere but from the Wawa deli/cafe. So disappointing and disgusted I hope there isn't more in others orders. read more

Rating this Wawa as is, but also talking about the food as a whole the pros and cons. Which is a company review, not this individual Wawa, so the star rating will not be for the company as a whole. Reviewing as a stand alone shop and the quality of Wawa food products specifically. Such as if a food option is universally bad such as the McRib as McDonald's (people need to quit lying to themselves with thinking it's good). The McRib is a McDonald's negative not the individual McDonald's negative And yes, time to apply that to Wawa lol. So it took me about 6 tries to finally order a meal from Wawa that was edible. Now ive been to other Wawas and it's an across the board issue so I'm not harping this specific Wawa on that issue. However it will play a part in it, when it involves the overall outcome of the food such as how it was presented. A few meals that in my opinion are borderline inedible are. The Quesadilla. Easily the worst quesadilla I have had in my life, and I've had many of a quesadilla. Incredibly greasy, chewy but not in a good way, half of it was burnt. And the cheese was almost entirely on one side. I've had better Quesadillas at Dennys. Their fries are not terrible but not great. Their Mac and Cheese has kind of a semi cafeteria esqueness to them, which honestly isn't something I dislike, it's not a mac n cheese I'd eat a full pot of but I do enjoy it from time to time. Pizza reminds me of gas station/bowling alley pizza, which unlike the above, is not something I personally enjoy (Yes I'm fully aware of what Wawa is a gas station). But you'd think it would be, you know. Abit above gas station quality. The worst part is the crust of the pizza it's literally like cardboard, which if you've eaten pizza at a bowling alley you'll know what I'm talking about. Their one saving grace. And an item I get whenever I go there because I've given up on trying anything else. Is their Tuna Club. It's not the best in the world but it's really good, they give quite a lot of tuna salad on it, they definitely don't go light with it. I've heard from people who go to this Wawa that their burgers are decent, but That's probably not saying much. A burgers gotta be reallllly bad for most people to say it's bad. No experience with their chicken. So can't say anything in regards to that. I'd give Wawa as a company and their quality of food outside of the tuna salad. A 2/5 I'd give this a 3.75 if I could. read more

This specific location whoever the man named Ryan making coffee is extremely rude and quite honestly cannot complete a task without being rude, I simply ordered two lattes whip cream, taking as long as he possibly could he serves them. When I looked I notice there's no whip cream that I ordered,wasn't bothered by it until I have asked Ryan for whipped cream that the label had said that I ordered. Ryan rudely responded. "Well maybe next time you should order that". As I point at the label that had said that I ordered it. Ryan had no response no apology, until I had called him out on it Wawa needs to do better with rude employees as such Ryan is deadweight it seems after my interaction with Wawa. read more

Wawa has been building its presence here in Florida for the last several years. Wawa has definitely been a welcome presence in the Sunshine State, especially with people who grew up and either New Jersey or the Philadelphia area of Pennsylvania, where Wawa was started and built a loyal following. There is a lot to like about Wawa. Their gas is competitively priced, the gas stations are spacious and we cannot forget probably the biggest selling point of Wawa is the food that is available 24/7. Most notably of these foods are there Subs, commonly called Hoagies in Southern New Jersey and the Philadelphia area Pennsylvania. The story I have always heard about where these names came from is that these sandwiches were created to feed the men who were working the submarine bases around New Jersey in Philadelphia. Around jersey, meaning Northern New Jersey, they were called Subs and in Philadelphia they were named after Hoagland Island, were submarines were built. These sandwiches over there became known as hoagies. For a sub from a gas station, they are pretty incredible. The fact that you can get them 24 hours a day, seven days a week makes it all the more better. In addition to their subs, they also have pretzels, breakfast sandwiches, soups, bagels and a lot more. They also have the usual convenience store items that you will find in any gas station. I would definitely recommend this particular Wawa. read more

Review #857. One of the reasons I always stop at a Wawa whenever I travel is because I know that I will receive a great product, and great customer service. My wife and I we're on our way back to Orlando from Daytona Beach Shores, when we saw a Wawa and decided to stop by and pick up a coffee and some snacks. As always you can have the coffee anyway you want. Regular, decaf, flavored, the possibilities are mind-boggling. We picked up a couple of Tastykake donuts for the road, these are always a hit. As I was paying with my Wawa app I asked the lady about their ice cream Sundaes. She did not know what I was speaking about. I mentioned to her that I had seen an ad in a Wawa in Orlando mentioning ice cream Sundays coming soon. Her supervisor must've heard me from the back office, she came out, and told her employee and us that it is a new program that is going to be rolled out soon. Once again, Customer Service is where it's at. We took our coffee and donuts, and enjoy them on the way home back to Orlando. Wawa, always a hit. read more

I have been a fan of Wawa since they first entered the Florida market in the early 2010s. I can only comment about the gas and counter service at this location. There are plenty of fuel pumps and prices are in line with the area. They carry all three grades of gasoline, diesel, and also ethanol free (boat) gas. Service was quick and with a smile. Heard this place was a big dealwhen it planned on opening here so decided to see what the fuss was about. Came here on the Saturday after it had opened and it was choas so just checked things out but didn't buy anything. Came back today and it had quiet down a bit. Pros: -when ordering food there are about 5 touchscreen kiosks to order your choice of paninis,small personal pizzas,hoagies/sandwiches,speciality drinks with your choice to add or remove toppings. Then it prints a receipt with a number, which you can bring to a cashier to prepay. -They have available outside seating where you can hear your number called as well -That fancy coke machine -many fresh coffee choices -baked goods (didn't try) Cons: -Not very efficient -food did not taste fresh - oven roasted turkey panini: the bread was beyond stale. I had to tear it with my teeth. Kinda sloppily put together. -The pizza dough was super bready and tasted very processed. (Granted its a gas station but if you promote fresh food..well...) -took a bit too long to receive food Other than all that its pretty much like any other gas station. WOW. I am a fan First time in a WAWA and I have heard a lot of hype. I was not disapointed. This will give Racetrack and 7/11 a run for there money. Clean, bright and organized. Gas pumps are easy to get into and out of. The store is great with lots of touchscreen kiosks to order your food and customize it. Then you pay and then you pick it up. The breakfast burito was very nice. I have heard that ther pizzas and ,hoagies are great. They have outside seating where you can hear your number called and watch the people. They have plenty of soda options and about 10 different fresh coffee choices with many different milk and sweetner options. The rest of the store looked great. I will be back! read more

If I could do 0 stars, I would. I know it was really that bad when even my husband, who NEVER approves of making a yelp review for a bad place; asked me if I was going to because they deserved it. This Wawa has always been the worst one in port orange but tonight they just really hit a nerve. I got a ham sub with lettuce and tomato on it, pretty simple and they actually made it right other than the fact they also put green peppers on it; which I can pick off so it didn't bother me much. He got a panini with bacon on it, well he paid for bacon to be put on it but it never got put on it. We also got a Mac and cheese bowl. It came with this big glob of garlic on top of it not mixed in or anything. We didn't notice any of this until we got home, we had someone take us home from work and stop by real quick so we were rushing. Mostly because we waited for our food for well over 10 minutes, the people who ordered after us got their food before us and I don't just mean one or two people. Four separate groups of people that had came in and ordered after us somehow got their food first, our order being 430 and theirs ++ that. This location has steadily declined since it opened a few years ago. The location is always dirty and pumps/card readers/air machine are constantly broken. Their fuel prices are always higher than surrounding stations. read more

Aside from its quick service restaurant (which I've not tried), it's rather comparable to a Racetrac. I'm typically a frequent flyer at Wawa. I love their hazelnut coffee and creamer; the price for their coffee is very good. I went in tonight to grab a quick bite and there were actually quite a few people there. We were waiting on our bowls and one of the girls making them (Julie) saw us, glared at me and made the snyde remark: " Some people don't realize that it's Christmas". The other girl making my bowl (Samantha) just pitting it together and then smiled and wished me a good night once she was finished. I thought it rude to make such a remark. I've had to work on Christmas before also. My girlfriend worked most of the day but to offer up a comment like that very deliberately and intentionally audible is just unprofessional. Aside from that, depending on the day and time and who is working the quality and quantity of the food varies heavily but most of the time the associates are very nice, fast paced and professional. read more

Being from NJ I grew up with Wawa so when I heard this store was opening in my new town I was thrilled!! Wawa started off as a deli and eventually grew into a convence store and then gas station. People often think of them as a gas station that makes sandwiches... but they're wrong, which is what makes them so damn good! Wawa has everything from deli sandwiches to mac & cheese, soup, dainshes, bagels, smoothies, coffee, the list goes on. You order fresh-made items from the kiosks which was very simple to use, just press what you'd like and follow the prompts. They often have promotions going on, like there $.79 any-size coffee. I love Wawa coffee! I really like Starbucks but I come here now, esp with such a nice price. Their ex caff mocha is my favorite. They make really great subs. I usually get the smoked honey turkey w/ chipolte & ranch and a ton of veggies; they stuff the crap out of 'em! Think Subway but fresher food for less money. Be careful with the 'toast' option as some workers over toast. You can always select 'no toast' and then tell them over the counter that you want it lightly toasted if you'd like. Plesently surprised with my experience at wawa, I have been to stores before in Orlando but never really got anything more than gas. For a gas station this place is impressive, with the full deli and market inside there is much to choose from. I got an Italian sandwich and strawberry banana smoothie and have to say for the price they were good. It in no way comes close to a publix sub but for a quick bite to eat on the road it's a great option. read more

Ordered a sub earlier this afternoon. After waiting a long time for it, got home to discover it was very soggy and the bread was extremely hard. Not enjoyable at all. two things I like about coming here. The best tasting coffee on the market, the gas pumps work great. What i don't like is their rewards system is to complex to use. I need to have a smart phone to get my rewards. I should just be able to use my phone number or a store card to scan my rewards information with the associate. In fact, I don't go here as much to get my coffer because of that. I rather go get my coffee at dd or mcd. If they ever decide to change that, I would be more motivated to go out of my way for the coffee because the rewards are easier to access. read more

First visit to a WaWa Store and what a JOKE... Filled up my car, went inside to redeem some small winnings on lottery tickets and to purchase some more.. After standing in line, handed the cashier my lottery slips to purchase the tickets and he told me, I had to go to a stand alone machine on the other side of the store.. Thought HUH and as I walked away and another customer took my place, he then yelled back, unless you have tickets that are winners - said Yes I do.. He then cashed in my winning ticket and I handed him my slips for the new tickets and was told rudely, told you before you must buy tickets at the machine dispenser. So went to it, figured it out, put in my $20, it scanned my lottery slips which totaled $16. Then asked another employee how do I get my $4 back - he said. YOU DON'T. So I was FORCED TO BUY $4 WORTH OF SCRATCH OFF TICKETS, which I never buy which is INSANE.. NO OTHER gas station in my life has not processed winning tickets AND the ability to purchase tickets at the lottery site at the cashiers desk.. WAWA you will not ever have my business again, as you only FRUSTATE your customers. read more

First let me start by saying that I frequent the Wawa's because it is close to my office and I can grab something quick for lunch. Most of my experiences here have been pretty good except for today. I generally don't like to complain about the little things however they managed to screw up my entire order which was extremely disappointing! I ordered several items today for myself and co-workers...Pizza sub with extra cheese - absolutely NO EXTRA Cheese although I can assure you I paid an extra $.75 for it. Medium size Mac & Cheese...You kind of gage how much you're going to get by the containers which they present to you which is mainly why my co-worker chose the medium however upon opening the container it was only half full - seriously half full. Just wander if he'd gotten the small if they would have at least filled it up?? Again, paid for the medium size but think he got the small contents! Turkey sandwich on toasted bread...burnt - to the point of throwing over half away. Not sure if they hired new people which are clueless or if their service is diminishing over time?? Only reason I gave it 3 stars is because of my previous positive experiences and would hope they actually read these reviews and will attempt to step it back up or I will need to be finding another quick lunch spot! read more
