I stopped by for an italian hoagie a few nights back.......... the gal behind the counter appeared to be the manager- had a great attitude, was giving out garlic knot samples and had a girl in training. I was also given a sample of green tea. While I was waiting, this was a great example of marketing and getting the customer to try something new. I always buy the same items at Wawa, but the samples will allow me to expand on my choices in the future. well done! read more

Cold weather coming -- car tires will start losing air pressure due to the temperature drop. Air pump out of order -- AGAIN! Not cool guys! This is the 3rd Wawa this week I've tried to put air in my tires and all of them have their air pumps "Out of Order". I'm going to have to take a trip to my car dealer then, which will do it for free but I'll have to wait. Did I mention that this is not cool Wawa guys! read more

Alright, so I want to start this out by saying that working at Wawa, or at the very least this specific store, was the most stressful job I have ever worked in my life and I do not say that lightly. I am mostly writing this review so that I can tell the world of my horrible time having worked at Wawa 369 and how my boss Brendan Lennon was a big part of that. So when I first started working here, it was very stressful pretty much completely because of how understaffed it was, and let me tell you that this store is WILDLY out of date for being as busy as it is. I don't know how many people know this but Wawa 369 (this store) is one of, if not the busiest stores in the region and I wholeheartedly believe that we were not equipped to handle the amount of customers that came in and out of this store. The morning people that work here have it the worst as they get the lunch rush and when that rush hits, there are so many people in deli that they would have to bring people that worked on the fuel court inside, but than if you were working on fuel, than you would get blasted with customers since two people running 12 pumps when it wall to wall cars is NOT ENOUGH PEOPLE. Working here, it felt like there were always staffing problems and I honestly don't even know who to blame for that. I don't know if my general manager Brendan is at fault since he was the one who made the work schedules, or if it was corporate since I had some people say that they would set a hard limit on how many people could work in a shift, but at the end of the day, it always felt like it wasn't enough. There were just too many customers and too little employees to keep up and that was at its worst during the holidays. We were so badly understaffed during the holidays of I think the end of 2022 that at one point there was just me and this other guy Ian, great guy by the way, anyway it was just me and him from 6am to 2pm during the peak of the holidays, and there was one point that we had wall to wall cars for I swear it had to be like 3 hours straight. It honestly felt like a nightmare that wouldn't end and it was all because this company was too cheap to make sure that we were properly staffed for the busiest part of the year. I guess that's too much effort and money for Wawa though. as they would rather stretch their employees so thin that they're practically falling apart. There was an incident that I happend to have written in my journal about how Brendan and how he ended up getting one of my coworkers so worked up that they ended up in the hospital. I want to preface that I'm going to make this person anonymous as I don't want Brendan or anyone In upper management to come down on this person for this, as I know Brendan is the kind of guy that would under the right circumstances. For simplicity's sake though I'm going to call them Garrett and if anyone doesn't believe this incident to be true, the day of this incident was on 9/28/23 at around 3:30 Pm or so. Also if the way that this is written sounds a bit weird it's because it's going to be a first hand account from when I wrote this down on the day it happened. "Branden came back to the store, and while he was there, he was practically harassing my coworker, Garret, over our work radio. He was practically yelling at them as they were on register and he was berating them about keeping customers down as it was fairly busy, even though as far as I'm aware he wasn't doing anything and could have sent someone to help them or helped himself. At one point however an ambulance pulled up in front of the store and I found that peculiar (as I was on the fuel court at the time). During that my other coworker who I was working with was on break and when they came back they told me the ambulance was for Garret. Apparently at one point they collapsed on the register while it was EXTREMELY busy, and they hit their face on the counter when they fell and was bleeding from the nose pretty badly. Brendan then showed up and asked why they were bleeding as I think they had gotten up by this point and was attempting to blow off the injury. Apparently Brendan started getting angry with them, telling them, "Why did you come into work if you weren't fit to work?" The whole time just putting them down and downplaying the situation they were in at the moment. He never asked if they were ok or anything best I could tell, just pissed at them for being an incapable employee in his eyes. TLDR : My boss Brendan Lennon made my and almost every employee's work experience there absolutely miserable to the point that I don't think anyone liked him. He disrupted my work when he found out that I was dating a coworker even though there were never issues prior and pushed another coworker to the point that they collapsed while they were working and proceeded to berate them about not being fit to work instead of making sure they were ok. read more

Great employees! Had a good laugh when one of the employees overheard me state "the gay panic is real in this wawa" in regards to her and her other coworker. Glad I made their night. Also, the Southwest Buger was actually awesome, which I didn't expect. 10/10 would recommend. read more

I am obsessed with Wawa. If I had enough money, I would open one up in Charlotte! I cannot get enough of Wawa. Whenever we drive back to NY, I know exactly where the Wawa is on the way, how to get there, and anticipate it the whole way! I don't even know where to start. They have everything that you wish a normal gas station had! The deli area is awesome. Is all on a computer and you order your sandwiches on your own screen however you want. They have soooo many options so the world is your oyster! I tend to always have the same thing but probably should branch out one of these days! But I always get the 6" wheat hoagie with chicken salad, cheddar cheese, onions, pickles, and a little oil and vinegar. It's sooo good!!! They have tons of deli meats, bowls, hot sandwiches, cold sandwiches, drinks...it's great. Wawa also has the typical gas station stop things. Chips, snacks, drinks, toiletries etc. It's just ten times better than anywhere you've been! I already can't wait to go back on my next trip!! read more

I'm hoping this is the WaWa we stopped at on our drive on I-95. There seem to be so many WaWas in the area! The WaWa store I'm meaning to review is store #8305. I loved the customizable ordering machines - you essentially order your own food on a screen (which can be pretty efficient, or perhaps not, depending on the circumstances). I also loved how clean and organized this store was. Service was good too. And for a little extra, you can even get your own WaWa coffee cup. For just around $5, I got a delicious Philly cheesesteak sandwich! It was both filling and delicious, especially considering it's pretty much gas station food. I was pretty impressed! read more

This location takes the prize for most friendly Wawa employees. I especially like the guy that looks a bit like Freddy Mercury. Since it is bigger than most the selection tends to be better as well. They are also very attentive when it comes to pumping gas. As a Philly girl I get slightly enraged when I have to wait in NJ to have someone else pump it for me, but I never run into that problem here! read more

This Wawa location is very clean, well organized, and always busy. I am able to find what I am looking for in this location. Much larger than some. Hint: When parking to go to the Mart, park closer to the gas stations. It is hard to back out of a parking spot closer to Church Rd because of the incoming traffic not slowing down enough or paying close attention. Your car will thank you later. There are plenty of gas pumps available and the attendants provide quick service. The BEST thing about this location is the FREE Tire Air! Yes, I said - FREE! Forget digging through your cup holders or under your seat (where many of us would prefer not to go sometimes), because Wawa provides a free tire air pump. There is only one, and there is a parking spot specifically for the air pump. I am sooo happy I found this since 99% of all gas stations charge for their air pump. Just remember - if it's not working, do not get mad because you didn't loose any money prior to starting up the pump. It's free. Enjoy! read more

Worst deli. Ask for extra, they give you less. Ask for less, they give you extra. For example, ordered a toasted bagel today with cream cheese, takes 15 minutes, and there is literally one square inch of the bagel that has cream cheese when I asked for extra. Never thought I'd bother reviewing a business as mundane as WaWa, but I was quite impressed with this particular location, which I went to for the first time tonight. I came to this WaWa simply to park my car on the recommendation of a friend of it being a good area for a bike ride. The parking lot is big enough that I was able to park in a sub-prime spot off to the side, not feel like I was taking up a good spot from coming and going customers, and spread out just a bit as I readied my bike. After my ride and run, I grabbed my purse and headed inside to use the rest room and get a quick dinner. The rest room was surprisingly clean, compared to other WaWas I've been to, and they even had the nice turbo charged hand dryers... You know, the ones could almost blow your skin in-side-out. The store itself was also very clean, and quite spacious. No bumping into people as I circled the store numerous times, trying to decide what I wanted. Eventually I ordered a sandwich. Both the sandwich maker and the cashier were very friendly. But once I got home I was reminded of how awful WaWa hoagies are in general. However, one cannot be judged for what one eats following a long workout! I am glad this WaWa is so great. I have a feeling I'll bf hitting it up quite often after some of my bike rides. This is is my absolute favorite wawa. I never ever have to wait in life for gas- I've been during the morning and lunch hour rush and never had to wait. The gas people are always kind and considerate. I love the inside staff as well- especially the deli workers. They are a lively bunch- always asking me additional question on my order to ensure accuracy and quality. The coffee is always stocked and filled properly. Hard for me to give any wawa a 5 because the food is absolutely ghastly! However, a manager named Keith who works the 2nd shift is wonderful! In a busy store(always understaffed it's wawa) this guy went out of his way to help me and was extremely pleasant. The customer service in this location is the best! Food and coffee are always fresh. Friendly staff. It's a busy location so parking can be tight. Gas prices are always competitive. Recently someone made me a breakfast burrito by mistake and they told me to keep it.. Best mistake ever because it's now my favorite breakfast item! I used to just grab those (always good, never great) pre made breakfast sandwiches by the cashier, but burritos are much better! I call this particular location soccer mom central; mini vans pulling in and out with loud hungry kids in uniform spilling out and clueless mothers on their phone or just plain getting in the way as i pursue my peanut butter Tastykake and coffee. Customer service seems to be better since the company did the remodel, not sure if new staff was brought in or not but i didn't have to wait 10 minutes for one of the coffee tanks to be replaced like i did a few years ago due to the aloof female employee who talked to her coworkers and took the time (this was about 8 minutes after I'd politely asked for one of the tanks to be replaced since they were all empty) to entertain two other customers while she was standing five feet away from the coffee machines. And don't get me started on this parking lot, yikes, always a clusterf*ck. read more

I order hoagies here all the time and I've never complained about them. But one day, I opened up my hoagie and found a piece of deli paper inside and was not happy about that. I made a complaint to Wawa about this and I gave them a second chance. Recently, my father got a hoagie there and when he opened his hoagie, yes there was paper inside. I don't understand the reason behind putting deli paper inside sandwiches. After hearing that my father found a piece of paper in his sandwich even after making a complaint to this specific store, I'm not ordering hoagies from this Wawa again. Also, in addition to finding paper inside sandwiches, some of the toppings I usually ask for on the touch screen usually do not appear in my sandwich. I'm really disappointed of the fact that my favorite convenience store that makes excellent hoagies decides to ruin sandwiches by putting deli paper inside sandwiches and not getting all the toppings I asked for. read more
