Needing to fuel up my vehicle and grab an item before heading back to my hotel I pulled in here. Getting fuel was pretty easy as there were pumps aplenty. I did my thing at the pump and made my way inside. I needed to use the facilities and they were a bit of a mess. I almost second guessed myself before using them. I opted to not wash my hands in here and used my hand sanitizer instead. Out in the store I went about grabbing a few things and made my way to the register. It was a bit of a mess here as no one seemed to understand how a line worked in here. Finally at the register and I asked for an item behind the counter. typically a Wawa is a consistent stop and this location didn't seem that different from the rest. it was really busy probably due to proximity to the beach. my recommendation to all Wawas , YOU NEED MORE BATHROOM STALLS! read more

I do love a Wawa though this one was not the best I've seen. The gas pump area was tidy and there was no trash. Inside, friendly staff and they do have their made-to-order kiosks where you can get all sorts of sandwiches prepared as you prefer. The grab-and-go was rather picked over at 6:15pm on this weekend afternoon. I'm not sure why there was bottle water mixed in with the fruit and sandwiches, but sure. The least customer service centric WaWa location in the Lewes/Rehoboth area. Consistently no consistency. For example, resetting the ice cream machine is too diabolical a puzzle or torturous a task for this store's staff. You never know when or even if they flash ice cream products as available again. Their poor overly taxed grey matter decided I guess that, "milk shakes in the morning? No way. Not on our agenda!". Poor 2nd and 3rd shift losers are irrelevant right. Luckily only at this lazy wawa. The others manage to clean and restart within an hour CONSISTENTLY. Unfortunately DoorDash have lost their brains too. This is they only wawa they'll deliver from despite that two others are a two wild hairs further. I sound lazy but rather disabled (hopefully temporarily). Advice: do UberEats annual membership. Slightly more expensive and still catching up on same amount of restaurant options. But they have quickly moved ahead in customer service. THREE WAWA stores to choose from, all the others are full menu running. Dartmouth is still running on bonehead time. Also. Be careful of the rewards app. Mine was hacked and ~$400 was hacked from the PayPal debit card I had attached to the app for speed. In July some Maryland store I had never been too - different ghetto? - 8 like gas charges, multiple in same day (should have been flagged by the app! ) so likely a inside staff operation right? PayPal asked me to contact wawa. Well that's a thought that they've moved on from. There are no phone numbers provided for wawa at all. Even for suckers they've asked to trust them with vital info. Thank you, PayPal! that had not so nice words about wawa and their history of hacked data, and they refunded me my needed funds. My mom worked on WaWa store #9 in the 70s. They've changed a lot. And can't say in the right direction in the last decades. Food quality . Gone are thin sliced meats Philly style, good daily baked Philly rolls, their macaroni beef (the ultimate after bar feast!), & care for quality employees & customer focus. But worth the growth I guess. Hell the gas is cheapest often - but at the cost of pings and debit/credit hacks. WaWa is one of my favorite places when I am up North. This one is no different than the others. One of the best things is you can get gas and hot (or cold) food made to order all in one stop. Selections are plentiful and service is great. Be warned when visiting at the end of a very busy day, the pickings may be slim.
