More than anything, though, the customer service at this location is what stood out to me the most. I almost always utilize the curbside pickup option when ordering, and I can say without a doubt, each time the staff brought my order out to my car, they greeted me by my first name and offered such a warm, genuine "good morning." This personal touch alone made every visit feel especially welcoming. The food/drink quality and the wait time at this location was consistent across the board.

The quality of the prepared food varies quite a bit, depending on when you go and who the worker is. I don't really eat here a lot, but when I do I either get a hoagie or a salad. Sometimes they are great, other times the portions are lacking. About a week ago, I got a breakfast bowl with greens and all kinds of vegetables, but it was super light on the portion size. And then today I got a hoagie and it was huge, great portion, very well made. My daughter recently got fries that were overcooked and over salted, basically inedible, but today she got a toasted sandwich which she said was really good. So I you never really know what you're gonna get here. Overall I give this Wawa 3 stars. It definitely is a good spot for gassing up, snacks and drinks. But it could be better!

They are also advertising smoothies, so maybe they are expanding their menu for the summer. All the pumps -- and there are quite a few -- were all pretty busy. The station is located on the corner of Lyons Road and Boynton Beach Blvd. It's a car-filled intersection all the time anyway. It was a convenient stop for us. Anyone who's lived in Florida a long time (my husband is native-born) knows that in hurricane season, you never let your car get below a half tank -- just in case. And prices will only be higher tomorrow...
