My car is jet black and, because of the color, it does accumulate dust and road debris but I can use Waves daily and my car comes out looking awesome every time! Service is so quick, simple and exceptional that you're never waiting! Headed to work, Waves is your answer for a quick but exceptional wash! There are vacuuming stations, they're very simple to use, can be used anytime at your leisure and they're the best vacuuming system one could ask to have! I'll be moving away from the Powdersville area and would hope to find service as great as Waves offers, although it doubtful. They don't have a location near where I'll be moving, sadly. If I could give this car wash a zero stars, I would. We have a brand new Ford Explorer. Bought the monthly package. Came home once and noticed some scratch marks on the back rear bumper corner. Then the next time we went we notice scratch marks right in front of the drivers side door. Both obviously happened at Waves Car Wash. We showed the scratches to management. They said, oh yeah. That's bad. We'll take pictures and submit a claim for you. Called a few days later and said the claim as refused because the scratches weren't consistent with scratches made at a car wash. Pretty convenient excuse. Management don't really seem to care at all. E cancelled our monthly car wash subscription. No apologies, no offer of any refund, just basically "don't let the door hit you on the way out." If you value the appearance of your car, I would never trust it with Wave's Car Wash. Horrible customer service. Horrible management. Just a horrible business. Avoid at all costs. read more

This was fast and efficient. My car was seemingly attacked by birds so I decided to try out this car wash because it had good reviews. There was a promo code to get the first wash for free. Towels and window cleaner were available after the drive through wash. The unlimited monthly packages were fairly priced in my opinion. read more

I have a friend with probably 3 million dollars worth of cars in his "Jay Leno" looking barn. He will not take any of his cars to anyone for a wash except Waves. So he talked me into buying a couple of Porsches... I will not take mine anywhere except Waves either. Your car sits on a large conveyor belt here. Other places have steel rails that guide your wheels through the wash. Your wheels stand some chance of coming in contact with metal as they are being dragged by some chain driven chocks... That's not the case at Waves since the entire vehicle is being carried gently. No metal to mess up those wheels. The equipment here is also more gentle and more effective than you find at other places. I have talked with the owner about how they get brake dust off your wheels (which they are very effect at doing)... They buy some superior grades of soap and have mix that does an outstanding job removing grime from wheels. Likewise all their cleaners seem to do a superior job of cleaning. My car comes out much cleaner here than anywhere else. They have great vacuums, stacks of real cloth towels that are moist for you to use, along with spray bottles of cleaner that you are able to use for detail work. Excellent place, not anymore expensive than the inferior places around... definitely a go to place. I will be back. read more

I just don't think I get the service that I pay for . I always choose the one that washes under my car . my car is never sprayed off and today the mat machine wasn't using water only hot air . I visited Waves Express Car Wash in Powdersville on 12/20/23 and I was extremely happy with the service I received! They have a new manager, Matt B. who saw me vacuuming the rugs from my car and came over to tell me about the self-service machine that they have that will wash your rugs for you! Matt even walked over to the machine with me to show me how it works and informed me that if the rugs don't come out as clean as I would like them to be, they'd pressure wash them for me for free. The car wash has nice features like towels, a mat wash and unlimited vacuum time. I was a little disappointed though I paid extra for a tire shine and saw no difference from before. I also had to use the towels to wipe off some things on the hood. I looked for an employee to ask about the tires but didn't see one. We like Waves Car Wash (other locations). The best one is located in Simpsonville, followed by Woodruff Rd. We recently moved to the area and we have visited the Powdersville loacation a couple times. If compared to Simpsonville, I rate this location a 3 at best. The wash doesn't seem as good as the other two locations. The vacuums also have lower suction. Employees are just as friendly... it's the equipment that doesn't meet our expectations. read more
