This location has been recently renovated and is now a Seasons. It offers new pumps and also has Marylous Coffee inside, which is the first Marylous around this part of MA. Prices tend to be pretty in line with surrounding gas stations. People are always nice inside. read more

Generally, I like this gas station and stop here often because the prices are good and it's in a convenient location. However, that changed last night when I was approached by a solicitor from Inspire Clean Energy in the dark while I was alone and trying to fill up my car. I was tired and taken so off-guard, and for the first few minutes of the interaction, I was trying to figure out if the man was legit or if he was about to rob me. He was extremely persistent in asking me which gas company I used and what my billing account number for the company was, pressuring me to look up the information on my phone. When I told him that I didn't have that information on my phone, he tried to pressure me to open my email to search for the info there. When I called the Shell station this morning to let them know what was happening to customers outside at the pumps, the manager told me that Inspire is owned by Shell and that these salesmen are authorized to be there. As a female filling up her car alone at night, this was honestly a pretty scary experience for me, and I am leaving this review so that others are aware of what they can expect if they choose to buy gas at this (and possibly any) Shell station. I have heard that Inspire salespeople are also pestering people at BJs, so be aware when you shop there as well. read more

Normally I would think thrice about giving such sweet ratings to a gas station, being aware of all the bad things that Earth Gas-raping companies do..... But this place smells like bacon and I can't help myself from going there even when the tank's full and I have no real need to go inside. Services Offered: Quality Fuels ATM Car Wash Open 24 Hours Starting with the bacon smell: this place has killer breakfast sandwiches each morning. There's the tried and true sausage 'n egg combo, egg n' cheese, and their superstar bacon 'n egg sandwich. The bread muffin thing wrapped around this little cholesterol bomb is soft and pliable, forming a warm soft bread glove around the buttered bacon and egg. It is scrumptious. Number two: This Shell has a HUGE selection of Pringles. Barbecue, sour cream and onion, regular, ranch -- IN BOTH LARGE AND SMALL CANS. What can get better than that? Finally, their soda fountain never has small cups. You're forced to take a huge (insanely inexpensive) soda, and savor it all afternoon. Which is what I'm *slurp* doing right *slurp* now. I love this place. It reminds me of how I was stupid in the mid-west, and I'd save my allowance to go to the QT Convenience store and blow my allowance on Laffy Taffy and smokes. I might just still be angry, but I felt the need to come and review based on my experience this afternoon. I've never used the car wash here, but I was desperate because my car was gross. I pulled up to the automated machine where you pick your wash. The machine spoke to me and told me to press one button if I was going to pay cash and there was a small sticker saying "no credit cards". So I pressed the button with my $6 in hand and attempted to but a dollar bill in the machine. The slot for the cash was lit up - suggesting it was working - but it wouldn't take my cash. After a few attempts I pressed the button for assistance - hopefully from a human being - and I waited, and waited - pressed the button again - waited, waited...nothing. I finally backed out and drove around to the other side of the car wash were I had seen someone standing when I pulled in. I said "The machine won't take my money?" He said "You have to pay inside and get a pin number." WHAT? Could there maybe have been a sign that said this?? Why does the machine tell me it will take cash there?? When I drove around again, I saw someone else going through this same problem. There is absolutely no indication that you have to pay inside first Grrr....I was unhappy. They are open 24 hrs though...that's a plus. read more

Extremely rude workers. I rarely go inside the store, because I just get gas and go. Today, it was malfunctioning. I swiped my credit card, put the nozzle in my car and selected fuel grade. However, the machine would not recognize this and continued to display that I select fuel grade. I went inside to tell the guys about this. He didn't even look up to tell me to select the fuel grade with a look that seems to say, "Hey, stupid. Don't you know how to pump gas?" I said I did that, but nothing happened. I went outside to try it one more time. Of course, it didn't work. I motioned to him from outside for him to come out. He came out, fiddled with it, and it worked. By this time, I am not interested in purchasing gas from this place. Also, there is a 4-star review from 2008 from a person whose address is in California. He claims to have lived in the Midwest. Go figure. The review reads like an advertisement. Could this be the owner posting a review? I wonder. read more

If I could give less than 1 I would. Went to turn in some scratch tickets, Randy behind the counter clearly couldn't be bothered to do his job and just scan them in the machine. Made me count them at the counter, and then had the audacity to reprimand me for miss counting. Really great customer service Randy! read more

I go into this place nearly every day because its so convenient, but the manager/owner named Randy is a horrible, miserable person and shows it with every chance he gets. I've always known to sort of stay out of his way but today when I was in there I mistakenly left the fridge door open in front of the energy drinks because its the one door in the entire planet that doesn't shut by itself. Normally I notice this and close it but today I just happened to not notice that it stayed open. I go to the register to pay and was greeted by the ALWAYS friendly and professional attendants and was about to pay for my drink when I heard Randy yell from the other side of the store "Shut the f'ing door, welcome to the world of a-holes from Waltham, another rude person from Waltham" etc, he didn't abbreviate any of the profane words, he just continued to rant and rave with obscenity riddled complaints about the people of this city. It was incredibly obnoxious and unprofessional. I will from now on go out of my way to avoid this place. This guy is just constantly rude and unprofessional and its gotten way out of hand. The other employees of this place, all of them, are great. Avoid this place if possible because an encounter with the ever miserable Randy can truly ruin your day. read more
