So over the last several years I have had a hip injection under the CT for arthritis 3 or 4 times. Each time it has been fine, no problem, well done, in & out quickly, nice people. This time I find out they no longer supply the anesthetic to inject in the hip for the procedure or the medication they actually inject! Instead I have to go to my pharmacy and order it myself (with the prescription of course), pick up the vials myself and bring them with me for the procedure??!! So I make the appointment a week out, take the medication to my pharmacy - CVS - and wait. Of course they had to order it because they'd never had a request like this before and a week later it still hadn't arrived so I had to cancel it the afternoon before and reschedule it another week out (they only do the procedure two days a week). Really? I have to acquire my own medication for numbing and to be injected and bring it wth me? Cash flow problem? Much as I think the Doc has always done a great job and the tech's were nice and competent......I'll shop around next time for a radiology provider who actually has their own medications............... read more

This place is terrible!!! I was scheduled for a 9am apt. for an ultrasound and was asked to arrived 15 min early for check-in and insurance verification. I arrived and completed all their paperwork within a few minutes. At this time the waiting room was completely empty. I sat and waited as the waiting room became full. They were taking walk-in patients ahead of me. Finally at 9:30 a lady calls me to the back to tell me my insurance was not valid. I asked if I could use their phone to call my insurance in front of her. I called the 800 number on the back of my card and verified that there was nothing wrong with my insurance. I then handed the phone to her so she could hear for herself that it was in fact valid (a 2min call). She then had me go wait again in the waiting room. Next, an ultrasound tech comes out at 9:35 and announces to everyone in the waiting room that she is taking the 9:45 apt. ahead of me because its not fair to make her wait. Mind you, it wasn't even her apt. time yet... I piped up and explained that I have another apt. to be at and how is it fair that I sit here and wait because your staff can't properly verify insurance. She blamed it on my insurance company for my wait time. I got up and grabbed my paperwork and left. I will NEVER give them my business. Complete idiots!!!!!!!!!!! read more

I took my 90 years old mother for CT Scan to Saddleback Valley Radiology in Laguna Hills. The staff were very professional, nice and helpful. Bianca at the front desk noticed that my mom is using the walker, so she brought "Readi-Cat ll" for my mom to drink, instead of sending us to the first floor to get it. Technician was very helpful to get her in and out of the machine. My mom was specially pleased with Amir who spoke with her in Farsi, while I was in the waiting room. She doesn't speak English. My mom and I are very happy with the service that we received and strongly recommend this facility. read more

This location in laguna hills off calle magdalena facing the laguna hills mall. across the street. Boy there in business. Wow. lol. I was waiting in the hallway. I didn't want to catch a disease. The waiting entry room was the size of a family wagon size car. The from desk wasn't shielded properly from covid 19 virus. The 2 receptionist siting there. One had no plastic shield on the reception desk ledge The other who wasn't talking to incoming people had the plastic shield on her desk ledge. Cheap one too. The shield looked like it had a cough on it close enough it would fall onto the girls lap. They had couples in there. I asked to speak to managers about how crowded she let it be. She said it was a medical facility. People can bring their friends and family. It's the company policy. The law doesn't require social distancing at here waiting room area. During the corona virus times. LOL NO SOCIAL DISTANCING AT ALL. I ask how long do me and my son have to wait in the hallway. she said 45 mins. for back x-ray. After seeing the x-ray tech walk out. Looked like she just woke up didn't comb her hair. She didn't even look healthy. She looked very aged. Maybe in her late 70's maybe 80 . Not sure. I asked about there other facilities. I eventually left and ask them to forward my sons Dr.orders to another horrible facility. across the street by mothers market and kitchen off Paseo De Valencia laguna woods ca. One reason or another. This is a disgusting operation. Spreading diseases and abusing people with radiation to soft tissue like organs that were unnecessary exposed to radiation. Not using lead covers the who way as the learn in school. This I was speaking of the second facility I went to These are very dangerous places to get diagnosed at. For a list of reasons. Easy to work with, I walked in for my x ray appointment and they were able to accommodate me in a short period of time. There were other walk ins ahead of me but the staff was working efficiently to get everyone seen. They were very clean, and were respectful of my covid cleaning concerns. Staff was helpful with checking my insurance. My dr received my x ray results same day! The x ray technician is funny, she made 'posing' less stressful. read more

My doctor placed orders for them to fill. The day before my appointment, the scheduler called to tell me they had received only 1 authorization but not yet the second. She said I could do one of 3 things: 1- come and do 1 procedure and do te 2nd later after they received authorization 2- come and do both paying for the second out of my pocket and ask insurance for reimbursement once approved 3- cancel the appointment and wait until they had both authorizations, at which time the would call me I chose #3 - wait until they had both authorization and make only 1 trip to their facility. Then a week later I got in the mail a hard copy of the second authorization. After waiting several days for them to call me, I called them and explain I'm calling to schedule now that both authorizations have been completed. The scheduler, Natalie, now tells me I have NO authorizations on file! She tells me to get the authorization numbers from my insurance company and she will have her insurance department look into it. I explained again, saying they had 1 authorization the last time we talked and I was concerned about going to a facility that disorganized. She disagreed and repeated what I should do. Then I said I don't think I want to go there after all. If they mess up records so much, how can I trust them with examining my brain? Scary thought! Went in today to get my leg x-rayed. These guys have a great facility with up-to-date technology and efficient staff. I came in without an appointment, and was out within 20 minutes. 10 minutes after I left (I was still walking to my car), I get a call from my doctor (El Toro Medical Center - also amazing group of people there) saying that she'd already received the results from the radiology department. Amazing! Also, I enjoyed the humor one of the techs had. Him: So you fell off the curb? Me: NO! I was holding a HUGE computer, wearing sandals, and I couldn't see where I was going... Came here for an MRI of my shoulder. The experience was fast and the techs were really nice. I didn't choose the music I was listening to, but it was Mumford and Sons, which worked out great! I even was able to get a copy of the MRI on CD on the spot to take with me. read more

Finally got the MRI. Susy was very patient and understands that no one is amped to go into a claustrophobic tube and lay there for 20 minutes while loud banging sounds surround you. Later, at a follow-up appointment, Kevin was my radiologist. He's not as friendly as Susy, but when the first MRI didn't work (I wiggled too much), he patiently re-did the MRI. read more

As long as that MRI technician works there, I am not going to this facility. The guy could not administer an IV. I told him that I had challenging veins and showed him the place on my arm where I usually have the blood work done without issues. He did not listen to me and poked my wrist that had a popping vein. Unfortunately, after moving the needle back and forth,left to right, he missed that easy vein. I told him that he should listen to his patients. To which he replied that he had been working there for 20 years and he trusted his "expertise". As a result, I stopped him from poking me again in another place and asked at the front desk for another tech. Unfortunately, they did not have one. As such, they lost my business. I already requested a new referral from my doctor to another facility. read more

Have tried multiple times to get my sons x ray done there and their x ray machine is down every time. No one answers the phone when i call to see if it is working so I've had to drive him over there only to find out it's not working again. Last time they had an address of a different place to go but i couldn't not find that place. The front desk workers are not at all helpful and were seen arguing and seemed like they didn't know what they were doing. They do not take appointments for x rays which is ridiculous. read more

Wave imaging has a malfunctioning appointment management system and staff at Laguna Hills, don't care patient's needs and concerns. I went and eft that office without receiving any examination and with a hungry stomach . Two weeks ago. I called a Wave Imaging Branca office to schedule two ultrasound tests on neck and abdomen, the appointment time was settled at 7:00am today. On the same day, I received a call from the Laguna Hill office and was told and confirmed the appointment time is 7:30am after I questioned about early 7:00 time. In the next few days, I received 3 text messages asking me to confirm appointments and upload doctor orders and insurance card. Again, the appointment time is still 7:30. Today, I arrived at Laguna Hills office minutes before 7:30 after a whole night of fasting. The female staff told me that I missed the 7:00 appointment, they can do the 2nd examination scheduled at 7:30 today. I explained the appointment time history and argue it is Wave imaging system issue that cuase the missed the 7:00 am appointment. Without explaining or checking what is next available time, the staff, clamied as manager, started complaining that I was yelling to her. I told the staff I want get the examation of 7:30 since I have done fasting and drove a long way. But she won't listen to me any more and ask me to leave. I refused at first then she threnten to call police to escort me out. I had no choice but left sadly. read more

I was so pleasantly surprised with how easy I was able to get an appointment for my son. The office staff was very nice and on time with my appointment. The technician let me stay in the room with my child and gave me earplugs and magazines while I sat and waited. They also went out of their way to be sure that all 3 of his MRI's were covered by insurance (insurance was originally only going to pay for one procedure). I have been coming here for scans since 2014 when I was diagnosed with cancer. Wait has always been very long. 30-45 min. Past scheduled time. But the tech Leo was amazing and quick so I waited. This time however was different. Leo was no longer there and after 40 minutes past appt. time I was called back. Room was sloppy and Admir I believe his name was tried 2 times to insert IV with no success. He called Marilee in who after 3 more attempts and praying to Jesus for a vein I begged then to stop and call my oncologist for next steps. They did not call my doctor and told me to eat Chinese food and come again for the test. What! Anyway, that was Friday and Monday I am calling my oncologist to ask to refer me to a different center. Ask before you book who your tech will be and run the other way if they tell you these two characters. read more

I came here with my 7y/o for her X-ray and my ultrasound. The scheduler said xrays are only walk in and are until 4:30pm(website 5:30pm). I came at 2:50pm and they said they are closed for X-rays. I was going to argue but didn't. I waited for my 3pm ultrasound appointment which I was told by the scheduler to drink 32oz 1hr prior to appointment time so my bladder will be full. When I got called, the lady saw I had my daughter with me. She says to the lady in the front desk she can't bring her kid in. The front desk answers it's ok, I'll watch her. She said you can't do that and the front desk says why not, we always do. The lady then says I'll talk to the manager. She comes back and says we have to reschedule. I said the only reason I came with my daughter was because she has an order as well! (My daughter who's just sitting quietly and is not like some kid running around crazy. The lady still refused to see me stating it's against company policy. So disgusted!! read more

Over the years my wife and I have use the services of SVR group. However I now have to complain about the outrageous time you have to wait on the phone to have someone answer your call to make, change an appointment or for other needs. This happens no matter what time of the day you call (+/- 15 min.). We have now decided to ask our doctors, that in the future, they refer us to a different group. read more

My wife had an x-ray & a CT scan performed for her attending physician. Her doctor asked she bring copies of het tests for her upcoming appointment. The front desk said they didn't do that and they wouid forward the test results directly to her doctor. The morning of her appointment the doctors office called and said the test results were never sent. Now its a game to find her tests. This is low end service thanks to Obama care. read more

Overall my appointment was great. The techs were extremely helpful and the lady that put my image copies on my disk was so quick. Unfortunately the techs at the front were here rude and uninviting. Any questions I asked they would respond quickly with out even looking in my direction and seemed very annoyed to even have to answer questions. I noticed that with another woman as I first entered the waiting room as well. The woman was so friendly to them and the receptionist was short and rude with her. No way to run a medical service. Nope, I did NOT go there, so I don't know how wonderful the technicians are. But, I DO have an issue... Over a month ago, I called to make an appointment to have a breast ultrasound. Everything went smoothly and I got an appointment for February. Since I'm a teacher, I need to make sure there is a substitute to cover my classes for any absence ( you guys all remember what you did to your subs when you were in school? So I definitely have to get one who is firm, but has a sense of humor!) Anywayzzz, everything was all set for next week when suddenly I got a call that they will cancel (!!) my appointment because the tech doesn't do that type of ultra sound. ONE week before my appointment! I called them to ask what was up and now where should I call? Seems the tech just looked over the order and they can't do it. Why didn't the appointment person have that you of information available to them? I certainly had no idea there are different ultrasounds done in different facilities, but the professional staff should. Now I'm stuck. I got the call on Friday afternoon, have a great sub scheduled for next week and have to find a last minute appointment or something. .. So what do I suggest for future reference? Please train your staff to ask appropriate questions when making appointments. Or ask your techs to review the orders at least a month away. Our medical dollars can go to many different services, and once this mess is straightened out, my money will not go here. read more
