I came into wave Irvine as a walk in to look at Botox and Lip Filler options. The front desk was super nice and fit me to to see Christine the consultant. I told her my areas that I wanted to better and she came up with a couple of treatment plans. I chose a treatment plan that's non surgical to try it out and see how I feel about the look of my lips. I got Botox and Filler for my lips, then booked an appointment with the front desk girls to come back for my treatment. They told me they can fit me in today so I said great let's do it. My husband and I scheduled a couples Hydrafacial. The lobby was clean and beverages were offered. The ladies in customer services were friendly, helpful in answering our questions, and we did not have to wait too long before we were seen. One thing I loved was that the treatment rooms are larger than other centers we have been to! Service itself: My husband and I have had facials before, but the Hydrafacial is different. Terrible Experience. Called to make appointment for consultation. In this call, i specifically went over in detail what i would like...The booking agent said no problem and scheduled my appointment. This Parking lot is a tottal nightmare. I suggest arriving 30 early to your appointment and avoid making appt at lunchtime at all costs. Jenny who was super cordial took me to consult room and immediately said furlough area is too vascular and against their policy. Therefore appointment was a total waste of my time and effort. This is the most HORRIBLE service I ever experienced at a Plastic Surgery Center. I went to Wave because of the convenient location. I even did some research about the doctors before I go, the doctors seem well qualified and trustworthy. Initially, my goal is scar revision. I was told to meet a "Consultant" not a Doctor at my 1st appt. I asked if its suitable to use Bellafill to treat my scar and what will be the risk involved. Obviously, she has very limited knowledge on this, instead she answered that " Bellafill needs to be done by our Doctors, other fillers the Nurses can do, if you want to book Doctors, you can only book very late time, they only come on Tuesday and Thursday for surgeries and you need to make payment first." I feel so strange they operate this way, nonetheless, I still made the payment for Bellafill and booked the appointment, without even a proper consultation and proper examination of my scar. I came home did some research about Bellafill and consult with Doctor at other clinic, I feel its not the right solution. So I called Wave to cancel the appointment. Instead of refund, the consultant talked me about the Ultherepy promotion, which I was quite interested and I thought it will be preformed by a Doctor. So I topped up more money for Ultherepy session. Today is my treatment for Ultherepy, a nurse name "Sia" told me she is going to do the Ultherepy. As I just did scar treatment somewhere else, my skin is sensitive so I wish to talk to more about my concerns and my needs for face lift. But it seems nobody cares, "Sia" went into the procedure room and talked extremely rude: "Go talk to your consultant! if you need a Doctor I am not going to do this for you! you can't do it today!" Then she just left me alone in the procedure room, I felt extremely disappointed. In short, at this horrible place the consultants are doing all the sales stuff and the nurses are doing most procedures. You barely see the Doctors, maybe only the day of your surgery, do they really know and care your needs? I really doubt this. Please, do yourself a favor, go somewhere else, where you got to see the Doctors and where you will be treat properly as a client. There are plenty of decent places in this area, much much better than Wave. read more

I did the botox injection here. Everything was fine until I found they charged me twice. So I called them and asked for help. I don't know the name of the assistant, but the one who spoke English was very friendly and willing to help. However, when I called again, the assistant who spoke Chinese was friendly at first. After she knew I was called for payment issue, she suddenly changed to a sarcastic tone and asked "The bank charged you, shouldn't you go to bother the bank instead?" I do my Ulthera every year with them, and in fact I have sent more than 20 of my clients to them for Ulthera, and they are all very happy. Jinny is the consultant who takes care of my clients and she is one of the most patient, knowledgeable and accommodating person you will ever meet. I only deal with her, she's very easy to talk to and always quick to reply to my text messages. Jennifer is the Filipino nurse who's been taking care of my Ulthera for 7 years, I'm in my 50's but I get compliments for my skin that I look not even 30. I have a 27 year old daughter who just did her Ulthera and she's very happy. I really encourage women to do this in your 20's to preserve the collagen and elastin of your skin. Before Ulthera, I was doing Thermage for decades but Ulthera is the best anti-aging skin tightening there is out there, and the EXPERTISE of the person doing it is very important. Wave has an excellent staff, all the nurses there are highly trained. I always do things preventive, recently after going on a 2-week detox, I have noticed that I have lost some volume on my skin due to weight loss. Although my skin is very tight, I am missing some volume on my face, it's natural to lose volume on our face when we lose weight, especially if you have a high cheekbone which I do, so thought of doing a FAT TRANSFER on my face. I called Jinny to set me up an appointment with Dr. Lee and he agreed with me that I am a good candidate. Words are not enough to express what an AWESOME job Dr. Lee did to give my face a natural volume, he is an ARTIST who knows the meaning of NATURAL BEAUTY, my face looks so plump and youthful. He extracted fat from my inner thighs and carefully placed them in certain areas of my face where I needed the volume. I have never let anybody touch my face and I am so glad that Jinny recommended Dr. Lee.
