They are well known for their Education program and their Nursing program. Beware, the professors are TOUGH on you and do not show mercy in any way. You have to work hard and you can't miss more than two or three days in a semester. If so you will get docked a letter grade in most classes. Regardless, great school, you'll love it! The professors are very skilled and knowledgeable, and some are nice too.

Savannah our nurse told me my daughter took her medicine well and I thought she was crazy....but it was a boy in the elevator that planted the seed about where to go for stuffies and my daughter pivoted... After we got a stuffie my daughter agreed to go to the 12th floor. The 12 floor had different air up there like #23.... The 12 floor restored my faith with my daughter Adrian (named after #94) and her cousin Madisen showed me family IS the best medicine... Nothing says "professional education" quite like delaying an exam by 2.5 hours because of poor…read morescheduling! The rooms were all "full" and there were not enough laptops. Today's lesson wasn't nursing--it was learning how little some staff members value students' time. Dean Schulte spoke to paying adult students as if we were misbehaving children while we were waiting on a room assignment , while Professor Repavish offered zero apology for a major scheduling error and instead told us to "get used to it" "hope you all didn't plan anything special" and we can "bitch and moan all you want." The nerve and she's the queen of taking away professionalism points even when there was no real reason. Told a student she was wearing nails that week and she wasn't! She's the most unprofessional "I curse like a sailor because im married to one" where is that cute!!?? Not sure if the dismissive behavior is due to the minority being the majority population but it sure feels that way. We're not asking for special treatment. We're asking for respect, accountability, and basic professionalism. If students are expected to conduct themselves professionally, perhaps the same standard should apply to the people running the program.

The directors, teachers, trainers and coordinators are the most helpful and informative individuals that you can encounter and they provide assistance and guidance towards the betterment of your education. Attending class is an enjoyable experience, the teachers/professors actually care and show concern and actually actually want you to learn their material. The classes are moderately sized and you are not looked as just a number or another student. St. Augustine helped me accomplish a goal that I was working towards off and on since the early 2000 and now I can actually say, I did it !!!

This college is located in a convenient location close to transportation, downtown Chicago and…read moreChinatown. On campus, there are plenty of trees and greenery. Some of the buildings are modern with great architecture. My favorite is the Kaplan building. As soon as you walk in, there is a robot near the front desk. In Kaplan, I feel like I'm in a college geared for the 21st century and beyond. This is STEM based campus for people with majors such as physics, mechanical engineering, computer science, chemical engineering, bioinformatics etc. Because of its great architectural design, films and movies have been filmed here. The popular show Empire has used the college for filming. The food in the Commons cafeteria is delicious, especially the stir fried rice. It had just the right amount of teriyaki sauce and veggies. The server prepares the fried rice, with vegetables, rice and chicken in front of the customers. The line for the stir fried rice was the longest line. The chocolate chip boondies were superb. I went over my calorie limit today!
