Have been very impressed by their work before, but their service is unfortunately inconsistent. In…read moreJanuary this year, they took a tree out and cleaned up so well you would never know there was a tree there. They repeated that great work a few months later. However, we called on June 12th to have another tree knocked down for a client. They said they hoped to get to it by June 30th. It is now July 22nd. If my math is correct, that is over a month for a simple tree knockdown, no cleanup. After having to chase them down for the last 20 days, and them saying that they "forgot to schedule us" or would call us back (and did not), we have had to go with a different company. Understandably, there was a heat wave and storm that affected their schedule - not a problem when there is good (or any) communication. We are all about supporting local businesses, but being unreliable put us in a difficult position with our clients. TLDR: Great work if you can get them to site!

I was contacted the next day to assess the scope of work to be done. The following morning I received a very detailed quote in my inbox offering various different options and expert opinions. On the day of service the crew arrived promptly at 8am and the work was done before 3pm. The care in dropping trees and limbs and the impeccable cleanup afterwards was impressive. If ever I need additional tree work I will certainly use them again. I

Williams A-1 wasn't the least expensive quote, but we decided to go with them based on their professionalism during the quote process, positive word of mouth, and the fact that the dead tree we needed removed was very large and very close to our home. We couldn't risk any screw-ups. While spending money to take down dead trees certainly isn't our favorite use of funds, we absolutely got good value. They arrived with a ton of equipment and their crew made it clear that they were here to do things the right way. At no point were we nervous about their work inadvertently damaging our home, which was just steps away. The second project, while not as complex, also left us very satisfied with their work.
