They came in September and October, then again in April and May. After that--nothing. They were completely absent for all of June and July. I called multiple times to ask what was going on and was repeatedly told they come every 4-6 weeks. Once we passed the 6-week mark, they kept assuring me I was "on the schedule," but the date kept getting pushed back. By the time my lawn finally received service again--today, August 15--it had been since May 31. In the meantime, my grass developed weeds and brown spots from essentially going the entire summer without treatment. Today's service was equally disappointing. The technician rushed through my yard, skipped areas, and didn't realize I was watching him. At one point, he was throwing seed onto my front lawn by hand. My property is over two acres, yet he was gone in under 10 minutes. Worst service you could possibly ask for. If you notice, their Guaranteed, doesn't allow you to get you money back. They don't even stand behind their service. They only offer free service and that's if you pay annually.

The yard was nice and clean after, with much of the old tree mulched (thankfully nothing for us to sort), and leaving a nice, low stump. We hope to replant someday, and they were willing to make planting suggestions, both trees that would and wouldn't work so well, with the proximity to our house. Though they were quick in their work, we liked that they were respectful of the tree from the start, seeing if it was salvageable before removing it (alas no, but thanks anyway). For their clean work, and removal quicker than we thought it would take for such a large old tree, we'd work with them again.

He said he could come out the following Wednesday. He and his team were there Wednesday morning as scheduled. He had the right equipment to fit through a five foot gate to the rear yard. All four trees came down and were hauled out that day. Two were very close to our house and Mike was very careful to not let even small debris fall on our roof/house. He came back two days later to grind the stumps just as he said he would. When he left, the yard was cleaned up and he even swept the street clean. These guys are professionals-- skilled, neat, and coordinate their work well. I highly recommend them for any tree service work.

I then reached out to Glastonbury Tree Care. The owner George called me back in less than an hour. He came out that day and gave me a fair price. We decided to go with George and I am glad we did. He came out the next day and completed the job. He cut up all the wood into manageable pieces so I can split the wood for burning. He cleaned everything up. I would highly recommend Glastonbury Tree Care to anyone looking for a pro to do tree work.
