Thank you Dr. Black for always helping with my problematic string eating cat no matter what it takes. He appreciates it forever and so does Miyoko!

I don't have enough words to express how much I appreciate Dr. Zeis and the entire staff at Watson Road Veterinary Clinic. My Yorkie (sister) Reese's went there regularly and they took such great care of her each time. My family had Reese's for almost 15 years. She recently crossed the rainbow bridge due to late stage of Renal Failure. It sucks this happened during COVID but the staff made this transition very comfortable. When Reese's passed away they sent us a card and her paw print through the mail. Dr. Zeis and staff, my family appreciates you.

Webster Groves Animal Hospital and Urgent Center - 3 cats, 1 visit!! Not fun but here we are.

Webster Groves Animal Hospital and Urgent Center

I brought my dog Rowan to Webster Groves Animal Hospital Urgent Care after he stepped on a roofing…read morenail and began holding up his right front paw. On the way to the hospital, he pulled it out with his teeth. I brought the nail into the hospital with us. During the visit, an exam lasting roughly 10 minutes was performed. When my dog was returned to me, I was asked whether the injured paw was the left one. I clarified it was the right paw. I was told that all paws had been checked and that no puncture wound could be located, though antibiotics and pain medication were prescribed as a preventative measure. They said he likely didn't step on it which was invalidating given that I saw him with it embedded in his paw. When I returned home I was able to immediately locate the injured area between the paw pads. Rowan remained in significant pain and distress that evening and required additional medication. The following morning my regular veterinarian examined him and documented swelling, inflammation, and trauma in that same paw. He was prescribed more medicine to manage his pain. My veterinarian explained that injuries from nails can puncture the paw and seal quickly due to surrounding inflammation, making the opening difficult to see hours later. Because the source of the injury was not identified during the exam despite being present, I requested a refund of the exam fee. The clinic declined. Emergency clinics are busy and I understand that, but missing the injury I came in for and then refusing to reconsider the charge was disappointing and concerning.

We've came here a total of 3 times already, 2 check ups and 1 urgent care visit. They are so nice and polite on the phone and in person. Everyone is so welcoming and greet you as soon as you come in the door. When calling to make an appointment, they can get on the schedule pretty quickly. I was able to get my fur baby's annual appointment scheduled within three business days of me calling. They have plenty of seating inside, a private enclosed glass room if you need to sit away from other animals or people. They also offer curbside service, you just have to call and let them know you are outside in curbside. My only complaint is I was scheduled for an appointment at 2pm, and we weren't seen until after 2:30-2:40ish. We didn't leave until 3:30pm.

Only for procedures (with my express consent) for blood work, tartar removal and imaging. Sadly, Dr. Gardner is retiring on Feb. 15th. All of her staff are 1st rate with extensive prior experience in emergency care. If you can get in before February 15th, you'll enjoy 1st class care and compassion from all. Karen is exceptionally insightful and worked compassionately with me thu end of life issues with 2 of my elderly cats. Looking for a new resource, I'm saddened to see a new Veterinary Industrial Complex business model proliferating in St.Louis. Private investors with multiple vets and staff. Astronomical charges (Foxcreek), and they couldn't to be bothered to send test results to Dr. Garden, without my having again requested they do so. It was clear they hadn't bothered to read the recent records faxed by Dr.Garden prior to examining my cat. Hoping to find one of the remaining partnerships/sole proprietors where the animals receive at least equal concern to profits.

The entire staff is passionate about what they do and you can see the love they have for their patients. I recently had a very sick boy and made frequent calls to their office and they had so much patience with me. In the end, I had to make the call and lead my boy across the Rainbow Bridge and they were so kind and showed so much compassion towards me. When anyone ask me for vet recommendations, Animal Health & Healing is the first one I tell them about. I now live in IL and make the drive so my dogs have the best care.

As someone from the medical field, I called the vet and asked if they had availability for the day and if they could squeeze my dog in on that same day to get checked immediately due to his symptoms. The staff at the veterinary clinic were very attentive and caring towards my dog, and the visit lasted about 1.5 hours. During that time, my dog underwent an X-ray, blood work, and IV infusion. Fortunately, the diagnostic testing showed that everything was fine, and we just did preventative treatment. However, it is essential to note that the bill for the visit was expensive. If you are trying to budget your vet visit, there may be better places to go. However, since I have insurance for my dog, I usually go to locations that provide extra care. In conclusion, this clinic is a good option if you are looking for a veterinary clinic that provides thorough and attentive care for your pet. However, it may be more expensive than other options, so weighing the costs and benefits before deciding is essential.

I have NEVER been charged for each half of a vaccine. Absolutely ridiculous and should at the very least be told theres another charge for the second visit. They also charged me 17 dollars because I was 12 minutes late. I understand they have appointments but at every opportunity they tried to upsell and add fees. While they were very good with my cat I will definitely NOT be returning
