WARNING: Please pay attention to critical reviews told about this company!!! In my opinion I feel you should be wary about giving your credit card information when booking long distance trips! Please pay very close attention to the fine print on the confirmation receipt.
I am strongly alleging this company scammed me and my severely handicapped brother I was trying to help. We booked a trip to New York City for my handicapped brothers doctors visit. I called two weeks in advance to get a price quote. I was quoted 250 dollars for the trip. When I called to confirm the booking, I was sent a confirmation receipt to my email . The problem is the confirmation email priced my trip at 330 dollars. This was not the amount I agreed to! I immediately contacted the company to contest the trip. The receptionist informed me the rate included gas and tolls. In my opinion, I found this response to be absolutely bizarre because when I was initially quoted, I was told tolls are included at the end of the trip. This detail was also written in the fine print of my confirmation receipt. Upon hearing her excuse, i immediately canceled my trip and told the receptionist I would like to speak to a manager about the pricing before I would consider reconfirming the booking. I was told my trip was canceled and I would receive a call from the manager to receive an explanation for the pricing of the trip. I canceled the trip well within the company's 36 hour cancellation period. I went out of my way to call on more than one occasion and sent a text message reiterating that I wanted to cancel my trip . I received no return call or response from anyone afterwards. I felt my calls and text were deliberately ignored. As a result I decided to arrange alternate transportation for my brother and I thinking I would not hear from this taxi service. On the day of the trip, after ignoring all my attempts to contact this company, I received a call from Watson livery informing me that one of their drivers is waiting outside my house. I told the manager I canceled my trip days ago and there shouldn't be a driver waiting in my driveway, especially since this company did not return my efforts to contact them. The manager presented to me this oddly condescending , arrogant, and confrontational attitude. Talking down to me as if I was a child and cutting me off before I could start a sentence. When I attempted to address the 36 hour cancellation policy , the manager in a condescending tone tells me he did not care about the cancellation policy and I would be billed as a no show if I don't take the car. The manage then brazenly states to me as if we are in some kind of competition with one another that our conversation didn't matter because he would just take the confirmation email ( I did not consent to) and get his way with my credit card company! I was startled and never had this experience with any other taxi services whether I am in Manhattan or where I reside. I am telling you his conduct was "WIERD " Watson livery ended up charging my card 10 dollars more than what was actually written on the final confirmation receipt. Claiming it as a credit processing fee. All my attempts to get this company to amicably refund the money failed. This is the outcome I received for helping my severely handicapped brother. It is my belief this company can be unscrupulous with "CERTAIN" consumers. If you choose to be skeptical about my story and still do business with this company, Please make sure you know what you are being charged and why , read the fine print of the confirmation email , make sure you are okay with everything written, and make sure you are receiving courteous, kind , and professional service at all times. "NO MATTER WHO YOU ARE".I wish everyone good fortune, peace, and much prosperity!! read more
