He set things up so well, that funeral arrangements were in place. Except for the tears shed, the visitation went smoothly. And "DesNoyer Funeral Home" made it happen, too. This is a funeral home that has been around for a long, long time. They know the business. My father looked wonderful in the casket. They treated my dad & family w/deep respect & dignity. They handled all aspects of the process and provided the remains to my son without any issues, which greatly reduced the stress of the situation. Later, when we needed a Burial Transit document that we had likely misplaced, they were very helpful in obtaining a replacement copy. Their services were significantly less expensive than a comparable Lansing-based provider, and we truly appreciated both the value and the level of care they provided.

I was recently at a memorial where there was a family that was divided and the way this funeral…read morehome and the funeral director treated the MOM was simply disgusting. No funeral director should ever pick sides and they should be making this horrible situation as easy as possible, this was not the case. The funeral director never included or informed the mother of the plans for her son and simply sided with the ex-husband. At the memorial itself the mother did not have any seats set aside for her and she had to sit in the bleachers, how does that even make sense? I am so glad I live in the town I live and and will NEVER have to use this funeral home.
