I had a pre approval through my credit union-as my credit had just been pulled the previous week-so no other hard inquiry was needed. This dealer ended up being some of my credit unions preferred dealers, so they said I could just let the dealer and bank communicate and they would take care of all the paperwork and I would pick up and sign after work. I had test drove elsewhere and was just trying to find the color vehicle I want. A month or so later, I get a letter from GM financial-explaining why I wasn't approved for a loan----ummm why would I apply for a loan if I had a pre approval for $35K at my own credit union, I contact the dealer, and they email me back with this BS email. I then check my credit and they not only ran my credit one time, but through 4 different places. And in this email, you will see he only admits to running it once. TERRIBLE TERRIBLE BUSINESS!!! DO NOT GO THERE!! Bunch of LIARS I responded to this email with a screenshot of my credit report and told him he was a liar, and crickets

Watseka Chrysler Dodge Jeep - scam flyer in the mail

It's December. We are busy cleaning out bins hauling grain to fill December sales contracts. The…read moreattached flyer shows up. While eating lunch I scratched it off. You will note the $10K matching price. I call the phone number, given them the "Reservation Code." Lady says "You have definitely won one of the four prizes listed on the back. No purchase is necessary. Just bring your flyer and ID to the dealership to collect your prize." I have better things to do than drive a half hour one way on most days, let alone today. I own 4 vehicles and have no desire to trade any of them let alone get another one. As a general rule, I do a lot of maintenance and generally get about 300K out of a motor. Sometimes I replace the motors after that if I like the ride. I have owned a LOT of Chrysler/Stellantis products over the decades. A 1980 AMC Concord before Chrysler ate them. A 1990 downsized Wagoneer Ltd. A 1990 Grand Wagoneer. A 1990 Eagle Premier ES Ltd. (2) 300M's before they ruined the vehicles by "ghettoing" the exterior. Currently have 2002 Grand Cherokee Overland and 2006 Commander Ltd. Okay, an 06 Avalon as well as a bucket truck, but they aren't relevant to this discussion. Given the narrow window I make the drive. I have other things to do, but for $10K cash, it's worth a trip. After you get there and a form is filled out they take you into a room with completely different numbers and you have to match one of those. Telling people on the phone they have definitely won one of the 4 prizes off the back is where they crossed the legal line. Nobody would make the drive for a "maybe." There are far better ways to purchase vehicles online. I should know. I bought that 1990 Wagoneer Ltd. on eBay and had it shipped from New Hampshire. The Commander was shipped from Iowa. Yes, I'm going to complain to Chrysler and the FTC. Hopefully this is the review that puts Stellantis out of business. I won't even buy one of their products used anymore after this experience, let alone new. Their quality has been looking up at cat excrement for the past decade plus and they price rides like they are Bentlys. WOULD YOU REALLY CONSIDER BUYING A VEHICLE FROM A DEALERSHIP WITH SUCH A NON-EXISTENT ETHICAL THRESHOLD? Ever since Chrysler stopped enforcing 5-star standards the quality of their dealerships has basically sunk to that of off-shore IT/Tech Support labor. Yelp needs to allow for zero or even negative stars.

I took my daughters Jeep Wrangler there because it had a miss in the motor. The Service Mgr. called…read moreme about a week later and said that one injector was bad and that was causing the miss. I replied for them to go ahead and replace it. He said that it would be better to replace them all. So, I told him to change all the injectors ($1,750 was the quote). So in another couple of days he calls me again and said that didn't fix it? You need this other part. So, I said will this fix it? He for the second time said yes it will. It didn't. The third time he called he said the computer was bad. It was replaced. The one they put on did not work? So, they ordered another one. In other words they had this Jeep for over a month and just kept putting on parts till something finally worked. The final cost was $2,774.54 for an engine miss! Seems they just kept piling parts on till they found one that worked. I complained to the General Mgr. about this and was told they gave me a break, $120 an hour instead of $140 an hour! Way more than crazy money for labor! So, it cost me $2774.54 for an engine miss! I paid them and was driving home and smelled something, like something burning! The front brakes were fried and actually smoking! I didn't even make it home! It was towed to another mechanic who said that the brakes had seized causing this by sitting outside in the weather for a month. So, apparently they also do not do test drives after their (repairs?) Obviously, I do not recommend this dealer for service issues or anything else!

Formal Complaint - Service Department Experience…read more I normally don't post reviews like this, but I feel it's important to share my experience with the Service Department. From the lack of communication to the questionable repair work, this has been one of the most frustrating and disappointing experiences I've had. My rear driver-side brake caliper was leaking brake fluid so badly that I had no brakes at all. Since I have an extensive warranty and the dealership was nearby, I trusted them to handle the issue safely and professionally. Unfortunately, that wasn't the case. After waiting six days just to have my car looked at, I was told that a slide pin was missing from my caliper, something that, according to the service manager, "doesn't just fall out." I was also told the repair wouldn't be covered under my warranty. I had to personally contact the dealership where I purchased my vehicle to get the claim corrected and approved for coverage. Communication from this service department was nearly nonexistent. I had to call repeatedly for updates, and it took over a week just to have the part ordered and the repair completed. When I asked about the brake pads for that caliper (which were also covered under warranty and had been soaked in brake fluid), I was told they would simply be "resurfaced." As someone concerned about safety, I questioned whether that was appropriate and was dismissed without explanation. When I finally got my vehicle back, the caliper appeared rusty and old, and the brakes immediately began squeaking. A month later, the issue persisted, so I took my car to an independent mechanic, who found a gouged caliper piston and no grease on the slide pin. This is absolutely unacceptable. Between the poor communication, the delays, and the substandard repair work, I would not recommend this service department to anyone. Customers should never have to fight this hard for safe, quality repairs, especially on a warranty-covered issue.

Absolutely impressed with this dealership!! Never been here, live 11 miles away drive by it often…read more We had a lease vehicle for my mother in law that was expiring, and we needed to know about how to purchase or return the vehicle. This vehicle initially was leased in Bradenton Florida. Dave McFadden and his wife greeted me at the door. I explained the situation and looked to them as to how to handle it. Within 5 minutes Dave had it figured out, east peasy!! Something that 2 salesmen and a finance guy and a neighbouring dealership (25 miles west) either weren't willing to do or complete what they said they would. We returned the next day with the leased vehicle and given the actual financing quotes, Dave said take a couple days to figure it out, we did and on7/24/23 we purchased that vehicle and it was such a easy process. Unfortunately in the last year this has been the third purchasing at a dealership that I've been a part of and this was simply a breeze. I cannot say anything but praise for Dave, his wife, Misty, Tiffany making this happen !! Thank you and thank you!! We will return!!
