The room was so cute and cozy and was nicely separated from any nearby rooms. The bed was incredibly soft and plush (which I love) although we did find a very small dead spider under the covers at the foot of the bed. Other than that, we really enjoyed our drinks, live music, and the ambiance at the Pub in the evening. While we didn't have a chance to get in the pool it looked beautiful and very refreshing. There was some loud sawing due to maintenance/construction onsite going on during the day but that didn't bother us much as we were out and about until the evening anyways. TV was super outdated, very small, had to be manually turned on, volume barely worked, the content didn't fit the tv screen. Bathroom is definitely too small for a room supposed to fit 6 people. Worked well enough but th shower was ridiculous the shower head sprayed into the corner of the shower and could not be adjusted. Overall disappointing as we have stayed here before so it may just be this room. I think it's needs some modernizing and upgrades, but has the potential to be a great space :) no breakfast also but staff was friendly

The rooms are very comfortable. Although many folk say they're 'dated,' I think the color palette from the 1980s is much warmer than the grays and blues everyone uses today. The only thing I didn't like about this hotel was its restaurant. It sucked. The Buffalo Chicken flatbread is on some sort of tortilla that doesn't resemble flatbread at all. Stated so on website. Asked which room it was going to be and was told #108 -- ground floor level and fronting the street. Not good! Be advised - the palm-enveloped setting in the photos is misleading. This place is on a busy street, across from a Dairy Queen and about 100 feet from a 24/7 convenience store/gas station. By all means avoid Room 108...unless you like constant traffic and pedestrian noise and enjoy having what seemed like elephants parading in the room directly above. One plus - the place is about 50 paces from a fantastic restaurant, Ga Sea Grill. Other than that I will adhere to the adage, "if you do not have anything good to say...."
