Driver said they could deliver the following week, then he called and said he broke down so another driver would call about delivery the next week. The next call came from Terri (caller ID said Morgan) asking me if I had the concrete blocks in place. Found an email from both Derkson and the financier asking for payment on the first (just a matter of days) and a signature that appears to be the same as the form signed in office purchase but includes the following: The condition of the building has been inspected. Lessor has the right to enter your property at any time to inspect the building. And includes a provision if they should take the building and personal property has not been removed from the building, it will not be returned. I then received a call asking me to get cement blocks for set up. According to advertisement, set-up is included. I made it clear I would not be signing any further paperwork until the building arrives and if promised services aren't rendered, then they could keep the building. Carl then called asking my wife to tell me we had to sign the paperwork BEFORE the building is delivered. furthermore, it was explained the size is calculated from outer wall to outer wall, yet the form states the size is from eave to eave. Yeah, sure, I'll get right on that signature without inspection with a due date for first payment before the building even arrives and a late payment fee of $300. You'd be better off just saving the cash you'd pay each month and buying a building outright from somewhere else. Needless to say, I am cancelling the order and expect full refund of deposit. Prices were competitive and it looked like the quality was better than the Home Depot/Lowes parking lot samples. The owner, Kevin, was very helpful when he came out to measure placement within our property and answered all of our questions and concerns. We had several features we wanted to customize so this was not a standard "out of the box" build. An antique door and window from Craigs List and window panels from Lowes were no problem or added expense for his crew to put in to our specifications. All was done within one day. This summer when our falling apart fence needed to be replaced we checked with several other companies and DFW Shed & Fence. Pricing was all within the same range. Again, Kevin came out to measure and answer all questions and gave us options so we felt confident in using him again to build our new fence. The two man crew was quick and efficient with the tear down and stayed late that day to complete the new construction and clean up. Kevin also showed up that day to check on the work being done. In a few weeks after drying out, we will stain it ourselves. We are very please with the results for both the studio shed build and fence construction. A five star rating and we would use them again without hesitation.
