Justin is a great guy and a specialist in this field. He understands what it takes to rebuild an engine or address any corrosion or spark plug issues. I had my Yamaha sx 230 not firing up and he was able to diagnose the issue and found the starter relay was fried. He also pointed out a multitude of issues that were overlooked by other techs at another shop so he did a full service at a reasonable price! All in one day! Trustworthy and reliable!

Six Stars. Justin is trustworthy and knows his stuff, I would not trust anyone else with my Seadoo, highly recommend Watercraft Direct.

Can't say enough about Justin. Brought my '96 SeaDoo GTX in. I do a lot of the work on it myself but wanted him to give it a once over and check a few things out that I try to stay away from because they require special knowledge and expertise. Called the next day and Justin said the ski checked out great and really didn't even know what to charge me since the work they did didn't even fall under their "check-up" charge. Can't tell you how comforting it is to find someone who doesn't try and "find" things wrong! He evaluated the ski, found nothing wrong and charged me a minimal charge for his time. I'll be back! Thanks again.

Justin and the crew at watercraft direct really came to my rescue! We had been rear-ended out on the highway on our way back from San Dimas. Our van and the trailer right out from under the skis was totaled. 1 ski hit the ground. As you know with fiberglass, it's like dropping an egg. I was horrified and in tears. We were thankfully okay physically but my 26 year-old 1995 Kawasaki stand up 750 SX and 750sxi where hurt pretty bad. From the wreck I texted Justin and he came to my rescue having the wrecking truck just bring the trailer and everything straight to him. He worked with me on the price and a few weeks later both my baby skis were back to good as new. Do the covid-19 oh, some trim pieces are on backorder but all of the work they did with fiberglass and paint is perfect! They look brand new! Miracle workers! Definitely deserving of all the five star reviews!

Man oh man. Justin is so amazing. Took care of us with a tune up, injector cleaning and a couple of other things. He went above and beyond to make sure we were happy and I definitely left knowing I found our guy for jetski repairs. If only I could find a car mechanic as good as him. Definitely recommend

I believe the guy's name was Justin that I dealt with cool guy very knowledgeable. And he saved me a bunch of money if I would have taken why Sea-Doo too the place my family used for years . I took it in for what I thought was going to be in the normal service. It was used Sea-Doo that I bought last season. However a couple problems occurred with not using OEM parts by the previous owner. Not only did my Sea-Doo get fixed but he also saved the lake trip that I was planning the very next day. He went out of his way to get the part I needed and have my Seadoo up and running within two hours. Honesty integrity and reliability. This place is earned my business for life. Not only that he educated me a lot the time that we talked so now I feel more comfortable buying a second Sea-Doo

Called Waterfraft Direct to put hydro turf on my ski. They got me in quick and made my ski look better than I could've imagined. Also helped get my ski running in tip top shape. Highly recommend for any and all PWC related needs. Thanks again guys.

We have been renting Jet Skis/SeaDoos for years and years. The machines are kept in great shape. The people that work here are awesome, including Sky. Rentals are easy. You book everything on line. Their website also answers just about any question you could possibly have. They are also lenient on time and don't nickel and dime you. The ride through the harbor is nice. You catch a glimpse here and there of dolphins and sea lions. There are always sea lions at the bouey once you get out of the harbor. You can take a loop from the Jetty to the Balboa and Newport Piers and back. This will take aabout an hour If you just cruise. Overall, I am a fan and then some!+

We saw many happy folks paddling in their water craft though, and large groups who, I'm assuming, went out on tours. We saw plenty of teams coming and going who keep their equipment there. Their restrooms are located on the side of the building and are open to the public. The reason we came to NAC is that they offer a perfect launch spot for paddle sports. This area of Newport Back Bay is very calm and leads into the estuary. It's a beautiful place to paddle, with abundant bird life and waterfowl, as well as "flying" fish, and no doubt an abundance of marine life below the surface. Besides being a launch point, many families with young children also appreciate the calm water here. The area between beach and boundary can be swum in and is quite shallow. As a side note, once out on the water beyond this boundary, one cannot swim or exit their paddle craft. There is a parking lot for NAC but there's also a large dirt lot for visitors, for the amazing price of $0! Great access, beautiful wetlands, calm waters...this is a perfect place for all types of paddlers, nature enthusiasts, and families looking for a quieter alternative to the beach.

Park for free on the street, walk up to the hut in your swimsuit and flip flops and water bottle and you are set to go baby! They will take an ID from you and direct you to the beach shore where an employee will set you up in a one or two person kayak, show you the correct way to paddle, and push you off. Go to the left and under the bridge and you are in the calm waters of Dune Bay. Want more excitement--then go to the right into the marina and battle the currents--that's how you build arm strength! and courage keeping your distance from the boats. We did both and had a great time. When you return--look for the Return Here sign, paddle hard and beach the craft, and an employee will hold the kayak while you get out. Go back to the hut and get your ID back and pay. Most peeps stay out 1-2 hours. After 2 hours your arms are tired unless you just go into Dune Bay and relax and let the current take you wherever. Make sure you go to the restroom Before getting in the kayak--there are no restrooms on board (or food service). 2. And wear a swimsuit--I have never been on a kayak where you don't sit in a puddle of water and get splashed a bit. 3. And NEVER stand up in the kayak--it will turn over. 4. "Nearing sunset" - https://www.yelp.com/biz_photos/newport-harbor-newport-beach?select=gM1AZfnUSZQeS7aF3dTfVQ History - Newport Harbor is a semi-artificial harbor that was formed by dredging Newport Bay estuary during the early 1900s. Several artificial islands were built, which are now covered with private homes: Newport Island, Balboa Island, Little Balboa Island, Collins Island, Bay Island, Harbor Island, Lido Isle and Linda Isle. Newport Harbor once supported maritime industries such as boatbuilding, shipbuilding, and commercial fishing, but today it is used mostly for recreation. Its shores are occupied mostly by private homes and private docks. With approximately 9,000 boats, Newport Harbor is one of the largest recreational boat harbors on the U.S. west coast. It's a popular destination for all boating activities, including sailing, fishing, rowing, canoeing, kayaking, and paddleboarding. Commercial maritime operations today include the Catalina Flyer ferry to Catalina Island, harbor tours, sport fishing and whale watching day trips and charters, and a few small commercial fishing boats. Newport Bay is divided by the Pacific Coast Highway bridge, which is too low for most sailboats and very large boats to pass under. North of the bridge is referred to as Upper Newport Bay, or the Back Bay. South of the bridge is commonly called Lower Newport Bay, or Newport Harbor. However the Back Bay also has harbor facilities, especially the marina and launch ramp at The Dunes. The north end of the Newport Harbor channels around Lido Island have a number of small business centers and were at one time used by the fishing fleets as their home. On the North East side of the channel, the Lido Marina Village now provides the local port to many "Newport Party Boats" as well as small merchants and local restaurants. It also hosts the area boat show each year as well as an organic "Farmers Market" Sundays, in addition to being the port for the local Gondola Company. In 2014, the center was closed for a renovation. Upper Newport Bay is an estuary that was formed by a prehistoric flow of the Santa Ana River. Today it is fed by a small stream from San Diego Creek. Much of Upper Newport Bay is a protected natural area known as the Upper Newport Bay Ecological Reserve, established in 1975.
