Every time I go to pickup water and Yelp I'm reminded that no one ever added this business. And this business has been open for years too. Sadly for the business and fellow Yelpers, this has always been a great place to get water and everyone has been missing out. So, OK, I'll take a minute and write their first review. The store is clean, the staff is friendly, and the high-tech 8-stage filter equipment that produces their filtered and alkaline waters is in plain view. And the waters taste great. Plain and simple. Water LA's water tastes so much better than the bottled waters from nationally known providers. Here's why: they don't put "things" back into the filtered water just to make it taste a certain way. I've always thought it was strange that a company like Arrowhead, Sparkletts, Evian, among others, will go to the trouble to distill/filter their water (you're paying for that) only to through stuff back in. Coupled with great marketing, pretty color labels, ergonomically shaped bottles and you've got a liquid that rivals the price of gasoline. I'm sorry, but I'm not an additive kinda guy, except when it comes to gasoline, which I don't drink. Water LA sells containers of all sizes, from water bottles, 3-gallon jugs, up to the 5-gallon (40-pound-plus) jugs for those of you who want to continue your workout outside the gym. They sell counter-top and floor stands too. When you come back for a refill, they wash your jugs inside and out before refilling. I've never been to a "water" store, so I wasn't too sure how it worked. The man/owner wasn't too helpful. I ended up just getting a gallon of alkaline water that was already bottled. The business needs to give the attendant time to close. Attendant complaining to customers that it's 15 minutes to close and customers are still coming. And he needs to rush to close the water station. 15 minutes to closing time and attendant already put on the close door sign and customers are asking if he is still open. I think it needs to be internal and customers not need to know this information. I love the place but attendant has some issue(s). read more

Also amaze-ball Popsicle selection.. I got spicy cucumber, watermelon, mango, rice pudding (rice pudding in Popsicle form?! Say wha?), and mamey (the unsung hero of the tropical fruit world). I like this place and the owner is pretty nice, but ever since they put in the Laundromat in the small complex you cannot find parking. It's already a small parking lot so now it's impossible to find a space on a weekend day (weekday isn't much easier). Yes, there's metered parking for 25 cents every 15 minutes, but I can't carry 2 five gallon containers far away! For example, it's Saturday at 10:40am and there's a traffic jam in the parking lot. People are honking at each other and yelling. Why? Well, people often park behind other cars to run inside and get water because they, like me, don't want to park down the street and break their back carrying water. I did the same thing, and yes I know it's not the right thing to do to park behind someone but come on - do people need to yell and curse at each other? I am definitely on the brink of finding an alternative for getting my water, and so are people I know. I've given the owner months to figure this out, but it's clearly not going to improve. The store owners seem at odds about it. Who would allow a big Laundromat to move into a shopping complex that has only 10 spaces at the most?? I mean you have people washing their clothes staying there for potentially hours when people like me simply need to get water, which takes 5-10 minutes. Does his sound right? Figure this out, please. Very pleased with this water place. We buy only the alkaline, and have not tried the purified one. We've tried 3-4 other places from Ktown to West LA and this is definitely the best. The water tastes clean and refreshing, and YES gotta love the cleaning out of the bottles. I haven't been to any other place that does that. I have been going out of my way for years to come to this water store. I liked all that worked there and respected the owner for having his children help run the business. Parking is a hassle with the laundromat but I always seemed to manage. The one thing that always rubbed me the wrong way was the owner seemed to regularly leave my bottles and go complete orders for people while I was there. Sometimes they had smaller orders. I kind of understood but it would get on my nerves. Today was the last straw. I came in with four bottles. Two alkaline and two regular. He was almost done with order, only one bottle to fill. Instead of filling it, an attractive woman of his own race came in the store and he leaves my bottles, tells me one moment. Goes out to her car to look at something. Then they come back. He shows her some small square-ish water bottle. Cleans it, puts in together, fills it, they chat and laugh and then he takes her payment. I don't know if this is racial. I don't know what it is. I did take note in the past that when he did this before they were with people that looked like him. I told him I felt insulted, he apologized but I just don't understand. Especially in this current racial climate, I feel disrespected and my business not as valuable as others. So I'll find another place that feels more welcoming and less expensive. read more

Don't come to this place unless you are for 1 star businesses!! Came in for the 3rd time after 2 visits and meeting the guy who works there(hispanic, In his 20's) had great customer service as well as friendly because of that I figured I'd pop back in for my daily rounds of fresh akaline water from my new found water choice .Ive traveled far and out to other places which I love but I tried to make this place my perm water spot. On my 3rd visit I walked in and saw what looked to be a family was working this time.I thought nothing of it until the man with glasses who had his son and a worker there, Give me this attitude and was really rude to me when I asked a question about a product. When it came time to pay for my 3 gallon akaline water he decides he wants to overcharge me.I let him know that it was more than what I was charged my 2 previous times of coming and he insisted I was wrong and argued with me for 5 min with his pointed fingers in my face .Utterly disgusted in the way he talked to me dismissing me as a potential long term customer.I felt like the owner as he called himself (a hispanic feminine man) Was disrespecting me and was biast.parking was hell and his service was 1 star just like the rating his buiness deserves. read more
