Even if you go after hours to the water teller it's still only about three steps from the back of your car. SCORE! This place has all the things going for it. It's family owned an operated and has been for as long as I've been going there. The employees know about water and their process is transparent (both literally and figuratively...you can actually see the equipment that is cleaning the water). They can show you just how clean the water is at any given time with their PPM meter which tests how much crap is in the water instantaneously. They also offer water cards so you can pre-pay in bulk, which makes the price competitive with the previously mentioned crappy store water. You get the bonus of having someone help you with your water here, though. They also carry an assortment of water delivery devices and sizes (crocks, coolers, bottles with spouts, gallons etc.). I will be a lifelong fan of the water store!!!

The reviews convinced this super skeptic when it comes to making the call for someone to give a bid on an expensive repair. It was easy to set up an appointment and they were here when they said they would be. They spent time talking me through the options and didn't hard sell me on anything. They didn't even suggest a replacement but I was already anticipating it because our unit had reached its limit. They said they could install one of their partner water heaters or I could purchase one and have them install it for me, both at reasonable rates. I ended up going with their water heater because it could be done same day without a lot of hassle. The pricing was fair and reasonable. They were done in a couple hours and we are back up and running with hot water. Many of the other companies that claim to be local have been bought out by private equity firms and their pricing reflects it. Steer clear. These guys are legit and will be the place I call when water/plumbing-related issues arise!

They were responsive and a tech came out within a day or two. It turns out the water was due more to my drain hose and had nothing to do with the equipment. The tech then ran through my entire softener to make sure it was operating correctly and left. No charge, although I'd have gladly paid for a service call. Sharp is a top-notch company. My dad recommended them to me after he had a great purchase and install experience. I won't go anywhere else for anything I can get from Sharp.

This is a strictly salt water aquarium store that offers fish, corals, invertebrates, some tanks…read moreand stands, along with supplies like food, filters, salt water, and whatever chemicals people add to their tanks (I don't get that far into it, that's all my husband). I have mixed feelings about this shop. I love supporting a local business, and the people here are very nice. They have a decent selection of fish, and many that are uncommon at other similar stores. Their display tank is pretty. They are one of the few places that sells corals. Not all fish stores have cleaning crews available, but they have a good selection of shrimp, crabs, and snails. Also they are the closest store of this type to my home. But they just don't take great care of a lot of their tanks. This seems to be an issue at most aquarium livestock stores, but that's no excuse. It makes me question wanting to support them when I see depressed looking fish swimming around. Maybe they just got them, or maybe they are sick....but there are usually at least a few that just don't look happy. Yesterday I saw a poor tang that looked completely malnourished. Along with this most of their coral tanks were in need of some TLC. Their frags had aiptasia, and were not bright and vibrant as they should be. On our most recent visit my husband and I just bought food and some hermit crabs. There are signs all around marking sales, a lot of the fish say they are 30% off, and the invertebrates were supposed to be 15% off if you bought at least $25.00 worth. When we checked out the cashier gave us our total, and I asked if we'd received the additional discount. She shrugged rather unapologetically and said, "No," but that she could add it. Um....I shouldn't have to remind you of that. The customer before us had to tell her to add a discount as well. If you're going to have all these "sales," your associates should know what they are. Maybe she was new, but I don't want to have to be "that person" that questions the price on everything when I'm checking out. This isn't all to say it's a bad place to do your aquarium shopping. I really want to like it. But just keep these things in mind when visiting. If nothing else at least if you buy a fish you can take him home and maybe give him a little better life.
