She shared her personal preferences with me, but did not push me towards more expensive bands. Actually she was honest and told me when some bands did not suit me or "ate my hand alive". When my fiance returned at at a later date to purchase the ring he did get the credit card, which only benefited him and helped him save a few hundred dollars. Later when he went to pick up the ring, he noticed that the center diamond (princess cut) was slightly off center. Being upset of course, he brought the diamond back, but they were happy to reset the diamond. Everyone is human after all and mistakes happen, but their acknowledgement of the error and professionalism in resolving the matter was well appreciated. Also, my fiance took advantage of their lifetime warranty, which is one less thing we have to worry about. I can get the ring cleaned whenever I need to and it takes less than five minutes at any Jared's location and they guarantee the setting forever. I'm sure the store reps can go into further detail, but this was a big plus over smaller store where we are not able to get that kind of coverage. We are now looking at wedding bands and Gary (or was it Greg) helped us. Again, he shared his personal preferences with us, but did not push us towards any particular bands.
