Has done work on watches and changed batteries in the past for me but I'm not going to be made to feel like an intrusion or that he's somehow doing me a favor with gracing me with his skill to change a watch battery or fix a watch. Didn't have a scene or blow up but I will never go back there again, nor would I recommend it. He definitely knows what he is doing and does quality work....just not worth the hassle of his personality...John Tsangos jeweler does the same types of work on watches....TSANGOS super friendly.... It's just a much further drive for me.... Tsangos prices are much more reasonable as well... just my opinion.... Maybe others have different experiences...thanks

My (now) husband proposed to me in October of 2021, and unfortunately, I told him the wrong ring…read moresize. We live in Pittsburgh, and the jeweler he ordered it from was a small business in Michigan. We frequently visit Boardman, and since I needed to get sized, we googled jewelers and came across Aebischer's. We were greeted as soon as we walked in, and even though it was about 30 minutes before closing and quite busy, we were helped within 3 minutes. The saleswoman was so kind. Despite her knowing that my ring wasn't purchased at Aebischer's, she still treated us as if we did. She gave me multiple options for sizing, and was kind enough to give me a new temporary ring sizer. I had bought a pack at Walmart and it was cutting off the circulation to my finger, and by her attaching the new sizer, it was instant relief! She even gave me another to take home.My husband was talking cars with another customer, and the rest of the staff was out and talking with us. They were all so friendly. We had such a great experience! While we were there, my husband decided to check out the mens selection, and we were given the website information for customization. We had to find out any warranty info, so we left and waited to hear from the place he ordered my ring from. Our original Jeweler said it would void my ring warranty, but we said the heck with it, and drove back up the next weekend! Even with covid causing backups and our move in January 2022, we got it back very quickly! I decided to get the 2 small balls , as they were more comfortable. When we got it back, they trimmed them up and it was perfect!!! That same day, my husband even ended up purchasing not 1, but 2 custom bands. We've been married almost 5 months now and his rings have held up amazing- even with him working so much with his hands as a System Admin! He gets complimented all the time on the uniqueness, and has utilized the silicone bands that came with them daily. We cannot praise Aebischer's staff for their patience, friendliness, and professionalism.

After not hearing from them for 4 hours I walked back to the shop and the woman who does the repairs said the guy who took my watch was out and she would call me back. I called them this morning over 2 hours after they opened and was finally able to get a price on the battery replacement which was outrageously overpriced. Don't do business with this establishment. They are either totally incompetent, a bunch of crooks, or both!

I went back into his shop on Monday and he explained what the coins were worth (at market rate). He was also very upfront and transparent on his fees (which ended up being around 10%). Everything seemed reasonable so I proceeded forward. He wrote me a check and kept the silver and the transaction was complete. It couldn't have been any easier. His shop was modern, clean and well organized. He was professional and polite through the entire process. In all a very positive experience and I recommend his service.
