The cost is discounted to 12 euros if you stay at the hotel. Go to the hotel first to get your parking ticket before entering the parking garage. The parking garage is just a few minutes walk to the hotel. The hotel is modern and clean. We booked a standard room and upon the clerk seeing our luggage (one large suitcase and 2 carry-ons) she upgraded us to their largest room (a superior) which was still small; you will feel cramped. I imagine that the economy rooms are very small. The hotel staff was very nice and helpful with any request. The hallways can be a little noisy at night. We were awaken several times by noise coming from the hallway (just people walking and talking) late at night. The rooms aren't very sound proof. I should have guessed this because they put ear plugs on the night stands on each side of the bed. They have a section in the lobby set aside with a refrigerator and shelfs which contain drink and snack items for sale. You just take what you want (honesty system) and let the staff know the next day or when you leave and they will add the cost to your bill. The prices for these items are a little high but it's convenient (example 8.50 euros for a bottle of wine that you can get at a store for about 3 euros the beer was priced more reasonably). They have breakfast in the morning at 7.90 euros per person. We ate there once. We are not big breakfast eaters and we did not feel that what we ate justified the expense (x2 + 15.89 euros). We liked going to the bakery across the street for our breakfast. We got coffee and a few baked goods for about 5 euros. This was our fourth stay at a hotel in downtown Wiesbaden. We travel here often and are searching for that perfect hotel with a decent price. This would not be our first choice of places that we have stayed but if the price was right we would consider staying here again.

Access Achat Hotel from the marktplatz (pedestrian zone), or the Parkhaus Mauritius using the…read moreelevators designated w/an 'H' call button or Hotel signage. You *cannot* drive up to the door, unload, then park. The lobby is quite large with a modern decor. Reception is at the Marktplatz side and a bar at the other. Reception staff are also bar staff. Every staff member we met was friendly and helpful. An elevator is available, as well as staircase. Breakfast and parking are *not* included in the room fee. They do serve a full breakfast on floor 02 which is half a floor below 2. The elevator stops at this level. I did not partake so cannot comment on breakfast. These rooms are small. A bit bigger than NYC, but the bathrooms are smaller. The furniture is showing wear as are some other aspects of the room, but everything is clean and tidy including the hallways, elevators and lobby. The bed in our assigned room has an older innerspring mattress with 2 European style pillows and 2 single person duvets. There is a closet area at the foot of the bed with 8 hangers. Two small shelves under the TV and one above make up the storage areas. A suitcase rack by the window will hold a small carry-on sized suitcase w/o impeding bathroom access. One light switch by the door turns on a wall mounted lamp. Bathroom light and heater are on the wall near the TV. The bathroom light lights up the whole room. Wifi may lag during times of heavy usage but is pretty good over-all and included with the room fee. If you need housekeeping, alert the front desk before 8:30 am. Otherwise no one will clean/replace towels. The bathroom has three shelves for personal care items behind the toilet. Extra TP, clean towels and one glass are located here. The sink is quite large which is nice but obstructs access to the shower stall (i.e. the shower door does not open completely). The shower door leaks a bit so be sure to put the floor mat down. No towel rack, but a support under the sink can be used to dry your towel and a small 'knob' by the sliding bathroom door will hold your hand towel by the loop at the end. There is a small window in there you can open. The sliding bathroom doors do not close completely. The bathroom walls are frosted glass. As in most German hotels there are no wash clothes so bring a loofa. Combined shower gel/shampoo is located inside the shower. Liquid hand soap is on the sink. A magnifying mirror and a hair dryer are mounted on the wall. There is no place in the shower to hold your shampoo/razor/body wash/etc. A good size desk area is next to the bed, by the window. The desk chair is the only seat in the room. Light blocking curtains cover the window. No microwave or fridge. Plastic cups are not allowed in Germany: If you need glassware, ask at reception. If you are booking based on price be sure to add in the cost of buying breakfast and paying for parking to your total. Our first night of parking was just under twenty euro. If you are booking for easy access to the marktplatz this is a very good choice.

It's not a bad hotel, very good value for the money and nearby the city centre…read more But I just booked this hotel under the permission that there's an AC in the room - which wasn't. Also the size of the normal double rooms is very small and the whole shape of the room, especially the bathroom isn't good (broken shower). So my summer experience was not as good as it could be and I would not recommend this hotel in the summer months. In the Winter, this hotel is perfect with Sauna, good breakfast etc. Also the staff is super friendly and helpful, also I got a complementary water in my room So all in all...3 stars
