And it is awarded 4 stars which is impressive so I thought it would be a good deal especially because I have only paid 54€ for the night. Upon arrival I saw that the location was nothing very special but it did what I needed. The property itself looks not too exciting either but clean from the outside which is good. Inside it looked like a standard business hotel, I was certain that I landed a good deal. Room: when I entered the room my first impression was, is this the cabin of some captain from the 1830s? Smells like it too. Feels like it. Old, very dated. I don't know if I was in bad luck and just received an old room or if they all are like that. Then one big issue was cleanliness. The room was overall very dirty. There was a huge stain on the couch and it did not feel safe and good to lay down in the bed cause if housekeeping did not clean the room, why would they be good at the beds. The bathroom too, hair all over the place, a dead spider in the corner. Disgusting. The AC also did not work. Very hot and humid night. Service: I had an overall good experience with the front desk but noticed them missing one question: how was everything? I think they probably do not ask that because they know it won't be a good response. Overall even for the small money, they should lose two stars because it is not acceptable to sell this hotel as a four star property. It needs renovation and a new plan on housekeeping and cleanliness.

The lobby is nice and with pretty skylight and seating area. The breakfast buffet is good with nice verities. The location is great as its less than a minute from the tram that takes you directly to the main shopping street of Frankfurt. Two malls next to the hotel makes shopping great. The prices of the rooms are reasonable compared with other 4 star hotels in Frankfurt. The staff is nice and friendly. And yes they have free parking in the hotel which is great if you have a car. Oh... Didn't I mention that there is free Wifi internet in all of the rooms. I highly recommend this hotel for any one visiting Frankfurt, for location, price, free parking, and quality of room. I will definitely stay again at it on my next visit to the city.

Super clean hotel, room updated everything. Freshly painted etc. the windows don't open fully but there is ventilation. It's locked but has a few options. Either way at least in fall the room doesn't feel stuffy at all. Even the bathroom is well ventilated (can take a long shower and the mirror doesn't fog up). Staff is very nice as well. Bed is comfortable enough, nice pillows and duvet. Just really really good value. If you're going to Robert Johnson for a party it's a perfect location. About a 4 minute walk. Door to door. If you're going to the center in Frankfurt there is a bus stop right outside the hotel.

The elevator is super small, however three of us fit with our luggage. The room was decent, three twin beds, enough space to move around, the bathroom was nice. They had a small fridge, no microwave and no water heater for coffee. However, if you go to the front desk, they will give you a water heater to use during your stay. The AC system is bit weird, make sure to close all your windows, turn it on to low and leave it for 10 minutes and you'll feel the cool air come out. The AC won't work if you have the windows open, so be mindful of that.

I walked all around the area and the Red Light District is about 4 blocks away, well away from the hotel and it felt completely safe the entire time I was there. It is in the central part of busy Frankfurt so it is not an ultra quiet location but for my purposes (a quick overnight near the train station to catch a train the next day), it was perfect. The interior is modern, clean and the service is excellent. They even have a normal shower...not a European special with the half glass barrier that allows for overspray all over the bathroom. That alone is so rare to find in a European hotel that it should get an award just for that amenity! Breakfast was included and the spread was outstanding for a hotel of this small size and for the price. My rate was 77 Euros for the night with breakfast. Within a couple blocks are places to eat, drink and get late night kebabs as is my habit to have in my room when I wake up at 2am starving from jet lag. I have no problem putting this place on my list of go-to hotels when traveling through Europe.
