My husband and I decided to go to France, Switzerland and Germany for a couple weeks so I went to Wasserman Travel and met with Sydne! Best decision ever! Sydne was organized, knowledgeable and even better, patient with me when I couldn't make up my mind what I wanted to do! Ha She organized my trip beautifully and communicated everything to me in a timely and detailed way so I was never confused about what the trip would look like or what the costs were! A couple weeks before the trip she handed me my packet with everything all organized and in the trips chronological order which made my OCD brain so happy! Our trip was magical!! At the end of our trip we had a medical emergency that forced us to have to come home a couple days early and Sydne and Wendy (owner of travel agency) stepped up the amazing customer service by getting us booked on a flight home and also gave comfort to me while I stressed out in a foreign country! Holy Cancun Batman! My fiancé and I went to go get some ideas for our honeymoon. We sat down with a male employee at the back of the business and he asked what we were looking for. We told him we wanted to look into a honeymoon destination and that we were interested in Europe. He basically told us that the only way to travel in Europe is on a group tour on a tourbus (sounds great spending a honeymoon smashed on a tour bus with 60 other people right?). As an alternative he suggested Cancun...I explained we were looking for something more adventurous and less sitting on the beach...to which he then responded by showing us a picture of a ruin we could see in Cancun. He begins a long winded rant about Cancun and I politely interject that Mexico is definitely not what we are looking for. He raises his voice and barks that I'm not letting him finish his pitch about Cancun. Awkwardly, we let him finish and then repeat that we really don't want to go to Cancun...then he demands to know why not. I explained we had both been to Mexico and we want to go to Europe...then he rudely explains that the places we had been to in Mexico were "totally different" than Cancun and we have no idea what we are saying no to!!! (Does he get a royalty off these Cancun deals?!) At this point I gave a "no thanks AGAIN" and gave up speaking to Mr. Cancun realizing we wouldn't ever get any advice about Europe. We go to grab a few brochures (on Europe) and he chases us down and shows me a picture of a beach and asked if it looked appealing. I said..."Well we don't mind the beach but we really want to explore rather than sit on a beach..." (Sound familiar? I ALREADY said this.) ...and then he flips the page and tries to say "You can explore the ruin!" Guess what?! It's a brochure of CANCUN! Again!! We bolted out of that place and felt like we had been pranked on a reality tv show. Bottom line: if you want to travel to Cancun...come here...otherwise stay 100 yards away. read more

This Travel Agency is wonderful. I have booked several vacations through Wasserman and every one has turned out great. Pirjo, who is no longer there did a great job booking our vacations just as we wanted. Last couple of trips were handled by Wendy Wasserman and again, we were very pleased. One note; every single vacation we booked through Wasserman we got upgraded on the cruise or at the hotel at no cost. Maybe we are just lucky but I'm not gonna risk it by going elsewhere. I went there to get information about cruises for a family cruise. Nice enough people but they gave me three books. I don't know how they chose those three. Call back to ask if there are other cruise lines and they were like yes, there are so many. I think I would have preferred that info while I was in the place. I think instead I will book this trip directly through the cruise line with the group coordinator. Wasserman has high ratings so they must be doing something right but I needed more involvement and care and thoroughness to make me want to rate them 5 stars. Like how about asking me more about the group that is traveling, what type of things/activities we are looking for in a cruise, specific locations and then help me narrow down my search of cruise lines instead of just giving me three random books and then sending me on my way. read more

I have to say, thanks the Wendy Wasserman and her knowledge and commitment to assist me in planning a 1 month Euro trip for myself and my 2 daughters, the trip was a flawless, once in a lifetime trip. I've known Wendy and Jim for YEARS but had never had a reason to utilize Wasserman Travel until I got engaged and decided to have a destination wedding. I live in Texas and we had family and friends from all over the country planning to come to Cancun to celebrate with us. We worked with Jim and he was FANTASTIC! It seriously couldn't have been a smoother process for everyone. He kept track of their arrival and departure times, scheduled transportation to and from the resort for everyone, sent travel packets to everyone a few weeks before the trip, sent a consolidated list to me for the wedding planner with everyone's travel itinerary, and sent out friendly reminders to ensure we could meet the requirements for the special promotions that the resort offered. Terrible experience. Met with Wendy to book a month trip to New Zealand. We knew just what we wanted and we're ready to give a deposit and plan the activities. After 15 minutes she gave us a brochure and told us to call her back next week. As we were leaving she told my husband did he realize this was going to be expensive. We never mentioned money. We have now booked 2 vacations through Wasserman. The first was last year, my husband worked with Wasserman to surprise me with a trip to Cancun at an all inclusive resort. That was our first all inclusive and it was fantastic! This year, we were looking to go to Niagra Falls and upstate NY to visit relatives. It grew to wanting to visit Montreal and Toronto as well. We went nuts trying to figure it out on our own so we again went to Wendy Wasserman and she suggested a Globus Tour of the Historic Cities of Eastern Canada. What a wonderful trip. Again, it was our first such type of tour. She arranged for us to stay a couple extra nights at the first hotel so we could attend a soccer match in Montreal. She also gave us suggestions on a shuttle to cross the border to NY and arranged for our rental car in NY so we could extend our trip to drive across NY State in order to visit relatives. Flight arrangements were perfect, we flew in to Montreal and flew out of Albany, NY. Every detail was taken care of and went off without a hitch! Wasserman Travel also helped us out in a time of need last year, as we needed to fly to WI for the funeral of a relative. My mother in law who lives in AZ needed to go as well, so Wasserman Travel- (at the last minute as is usual with funerals) coordinated our flights with hers so that we met up at the layover and were able to fly in together as well as leave together. We would recommend Wasserman Travel and will definitely use them again! read more

My family and I recently traveled to Paris, London, different locations in Northern England, and Edinburgh. I worked with Pirjo Boss and cannot be happier with the itinerary she planned for us. We were interested in traveling on our own rather than with an organized tour group and Pirjo was so helpful. She found us nice hotels located centrally within each city, booked us some city tours, etc, and took care of all of the car, train, and airline details. Before we left, Pirjo had all of our hotel and tour vouchers, Eurostar tickets, car rental information, etc, ready and once we were in Europe, all we had to do was show our voucher or ticket and before we knew it, we were checked into our hotel, or on our preplanned city tour, or getting on a train. Pirjo also arranged for a driver to meet us at the airport once we landed in Paris, a welcome sight after such a long flight. I especially appreciate how Pirjo always answered any question promptly after receiving an inquiring email from me (and I sent her a lot of them!). She also had a lot of good tips which were beneficial once we arrived in Europe. It was reassuring to know that she was always looking out for us and working hard to arrange a great itinerary that wasn't too expensive. She is truly a professional who works hard for her clients. As a result of her care and hard work, we had a great trip to Europe and will be using Wasserman Travel again for future travel. read more
