Though I had many recommendations and referrals for other accountants, I chose to work with Rose because I chose to specifically support a woman and minority owned business. One piece of advice from Erin Benzakein from Floret about hiring a bookkeeper and accountant was that if you feel dumb or awful after meeting with either, then it's time for you to hire a new accountant/bookkeeper. I was having a hard time managing my own bookkeeping and was inquiring about this service. I met with Tara and she was condescending, defensive, and was gaslighting me when I started crying on the call after she went on a diatribe about the importance of bookkeeping. I also disagreed with her statement that "Bookkeeping is the backbone of your business." Unfortunately, Rose was also on the call and there wasn't any intervention. I would recommend Rose Brown only if you were just working with her and Darin, but would stay away if you are on a call with Tara.

TD Bank is not making me feel safe anymore. My debit card number was stolen and charges made in Los…read moreAngeles came out of my checking account. I will say they credited my checking quickly while they investigate. It will take months for a final decision. In the meantime they still insist I have a debit card to withdraw cash from my account. They started a new debit card called contactless. It's the same card but I don't have to present it when I go to get cash. I show ID and enter my PIN number. In addition I went online and locked the card on their website. When I know I'm going to get cash out I can unlock it and then lock it back so it's not in use. I've set every form of account notification also. So let my hardship be a lesson to you. And let me say this review is for the location in New Jersey that headquarters my branch. The branch manager gave me the address and it's on the letter they sent to me. One last message regarding TD is that if they mess up in any way I am moving my business to Capital One. Capital One is in the top two highest customer service rated banks regarding customer finance safety comfort. The bank on top is Chase!
