One of the World's Great Newspapers has a business office with practices not worthy of its affiliation. I cancelled my last Post home delivery in October 5 days before my paid subscription expired. The Post billed me $38.59 for the next subscription period and though I had cancelled, the unpaid unmerited bill stayed on my record. I tried to renew delivery and was prevented from doing so on the website ("connection timed out"). Several attempts later I called and heard the acknowledged billing error would take 24 to 48 hours to correct. When it did not I called again today, received an apology, and was told it would take another 24 to 48 hours. Or 72. Or 10 to 15 days. And it had to go to management to resolve. I am certain the people responsible for this low quality customer service would not tolerate same from any other institution. Why do they run a system with such poor customer service? read more
