Called Shipley at 5 pm and Service Manager Tom fit us in the very next morning at 7:30 a.m! We went down in the crawl space after some quick diagnostics and Tom found a junction box in the ceiling of the Crawl that had 3 yellow electrical lines coming into it. He took the wire nuts off the ground, positive and negative wires and found that one of the 3 ground wires over the last 20 years had pulled back slightly. He re-connected and went back up to the main fuse panel and kitchen to make sure all was well. I was so impressed he was able to diagnose and resolve this issue so quickly - I NEVER would have found the root cause of this problem. Shipley has worked on several new fixtures and electrical improvements in our home and we find them to be extremely efficient, very responsive and very reasonable. We highly recommend Shipley Electric.

Both our deadbolt & top lock use the same key. He was able to pick the top lock, remove it and then made two new sets of keys. They worked beautifully. Well worth the price of $45. Great service; Great value. Really saved the day for us. Such a relief. If you're in the area and need this kind of work done, I can't recommend him highly enough. FYI: McCall is a quaint town built on Payette Lake. Streets are appropriately narrow and there is difficulty in parking a tow vehicle and 30' pull trailer. There is no room in their parking lot for a rig our size. We had to park on a side street.

But.....I was in here yesterday (9/26/20) and one of the gentleman that works the back counter wearing the ball cap for the other guy was pretty damn rude. I don't know if he was just grumpy cause it was morning or because he has a generally pissed off disposition but it was not up to their usual standards and greetings I will continue to shop here but I will give this guy a thumping if he has the same attitude next time. Store is 5 stars all day long for cleanliness and inventory. Lady Cashier and long haired Cashier guy and older man that reminds you of Santa are great. The other guy can just go back to that southwestern state that were not so fond of.
