Dr Ashley is amazing and she deserves 10 stars, but the business practice /the owner deserves 0, as they are not upfront about their billing. My dentist provided scan, yet they claim, every time, that is not enough, then they bill you $180 for the scan that they know (in network) insurance won't cover, without proper disclosure. They obviously know this based on prior reviews, yet they keep doing it. I insisted not to be scanned again as I have been scammed before with dental scans...plus radiation and my primary dentist had sent scans. They alway state "this is what we HAVE TO have" so they can get more money. Great Dentist like Dr Ashley should work for better more professional practice! Will not go back there and will let my primary dentist know about forewarning his patients or sending them elsewhere! read more

Dr. Ashley Barrineau is the best. One of the best dentists I've had work on my teeth in my entire life. I have the biggest fear of the dentist, like you can barely get me through the door and this facility was one of the best I have been to when it comes to taking care of patients with anxiety. They made sure I was doing okay throughout the whole thing, let me pick the music, gave me stress balls, were super nice to me and understanding and just overall amazing. This dentist billed in such a way that our in-network insurance would not accept the bills and we were stuck with $180 in expenses that we did not anticipate. They refused to adjust billing codes in a manner that was acceptable to the insurance company. For example, dental insurance typically provides 1 "exam" every 6 months. We had an "exam" at our primary dentist and was referred to this specialist for further diagnosis. Because they billed their visit as an "exam," the insurance company wouldn't cover it. The insurance agent told us that typically specialists bill as a "consultation" which would have been covered. When asking the billing person to alter the code to a consultation, they said that would be "insurance fraud." Using the correct codes for different "in-network" insurance companies is not fraud. It is how the medical billing system works! So ridiculous. After a heated conversation, they agreed to write off the remaining balance but it still cost $180 dollars. The performed a very expensive CT scan instead of a panoramic x-ray and then said they couldn't help and referred us to another dentist. If you are a new patient, make sure you ask them to provide an insurance estimate of services before you walk through the door. Putting patients in a situation where they owe money that should have been covered by insurance is a terrible business practice. read more

I can't recommend Dr. Bing and his staff enough. My job allows me little to no free time. I work 6 days a week, 10-12 hour days. I was able to get an appt with Dr. Bing to figure out if I needed a root canal before I got my permanent crown. It turns out I did need a root canal and unfortunately the last appt of the day, the appt. directly after mine booked 15 minutes before I got there. So when they discovered that that they had no openings that would work for my schedule for 2 weeks. Dr. Bing and his staff all agreed to stay late and do my procedure after their last appt. This was so above and beyond! Everyone was so gracious and kind. I've had one other root canal and there is no comparison. This procedure was quick, painless and as stress free as you can get. I wish he could be my regular dentist as well :) If you are in need of a root canal, this office of professional and compassionate people is the right choice. Dr.Bing and his staff was amazing. I had to get a root canal after not being able to know what was giving me tooth pain for a week. I came in with pain and feeling discouraged because I didn't know if there was anything that could be done. From the moment I walked in, everyone made me feel comfortable and walked me through all the steps of the root canal process and make sure I was as comfortable as possible. Had a great experience here yesterday for a root canal procedure. I was terrified to say the least and thought about leaving several times lol. The staff was very welcoming nice and pleasant. They assured me I was in good hands and walked me through what was going to happen. After about 20 minutes I was relaxed Dr V. Referred here from my dentist when I had a tooth hurting that has been on watch for years. They got me in next day which is nice during a busy holiday time. Staff was friendly and explained what we were looking for and why each test was being done. Sure enough I needed a root canal. They could do it at that moment if I had the time. Since running out the door wouldn't be adult like I stayed for the procedure. I warned them I tend to take a lot more pain meds than normal people. They kept testing me each step and kept shooting my gum full of things to numb it. Once the procedure started I could still feel it, and they had to shoot it directly. Finally got underway without me being on the verge of screaming. I appreciated them doing everything they could do to numb me up. Dr Wan and Tanner were excellent and patient for my mouth to numb up. I even got to choose the music I wanted. Classic was definitely the right choice! It went quickly as they expected with stops for X-ray and filling set up along the way. I was out the door in the hour with a goody bag to go. Not the way anyone would want to spend their morning, but Dr Wan and his team know what they are doing, and I was super pleased with the service. You even get a final xray to view of the spectacular work they did. Seriously grateful my tooth pain will be over soon. I didn't want a root canal, but Dr Wan was amazing and if I ever needed more surgery like this I would come back here. read more

I just had a root canal done at Washington Endodontics, and let me just say I was super nervous about it! However, Dr. Wan and his staff made me feel so comfortable and reassured me everything will be ok. They explained the procedure and what they were going to do, and they also explained what they were doing as they were working on my tooth. They kept asking if I was ok, as they wanted to make sure I wasn't in any pain or discomfort. They really cared for me and Dr. Wan did an amazing job on my tooth! I was having severe jaw pain and my dentist was out of the office, so I was referred to Dr. Wan at Washington Endodontics. I'm already a pretty nervous patient, so having to go see someone that I didn't know, that didn't knowme, made it even more nerve-wracking. But the staff was so friendly, and Dr. Wan (a self-proclaimed "nerd") is so nice and knowledgeable, and his staff were so personable. Amy was working with me, and she was very reassuring and understanding of what type of patient I was, and catered to that. She did a full scan of my jaw, and took x-rays. Any sat with me and just chatted, I told her I was nervous, and she calmly explained the process and we take about life in general. Dr. Wan ensured he was working on the correct tooth by checking which tooth was setting off the pain. It turned out to not be the tooth I had thought it was! He always tries to squeeze in patients on the same day, I witnessed that first hand with another lady that was waiting. She didn't have an appointment, but they wanted to ensure she was seen that day and scheduled her later that same day. The procedure itself is not fun, of course. But Dr. Wan asked me what music I wanted to listen to, and since I didn't really have a preference and told them to choose, he chose a Disney Playlist, and I was actually tapping my toes during a root canal, people. Tapping. My. Toes. My root canal was particularly difficult, but he was as thorough as you'd wish for your doctor to be, and I was actually quite comfortable throughout the process. He reviews his work on two x-rays to ensure the job was complete. I highly recommend Dr. Wan and his staff at Washington Endodontics for anyone needing root canal work done! It was such a positive experience, the office is so clean, lots of space in the waiting room, and the pain I was suffering from is gone! After a very disappointing series of events, that I have been referring to as a "Saga", Washington Endodontics was able to put the cap on it. My back molar has been infected and badly in need of a root canal for three years. It was so bad that my neck was in pain. After several failed attempts at another location, this staff was able to take care of me. Suffering from anxiety when in the chair was something new to me, and the previous visits at the other location, the stress and nerves had only doubled. I went to my dentist this morning after a weekend of severe pain, he referred me to Dr Wan, who was kind enough to put me in the same day. I arrived at their office and was given a friendly greeting. The office is very nice and comfortable in appearance. The back office was also very nice and friendly. Having worked in a medical office for 21 years, I was impressed with the way they all helped each other and worked together to give the patient the best care possible. My root canal was a bit involved and they worked hard to ensure I was comfortable during the long process, which included choosing music to calm and relax me. My husband enjoyed talking about sports with the Dr and they kindly answered any questions that he had. They truly made a horrible day so much less stressful for me. Dr Kim and his team are amazing! If I EVER need another root canal again (let's hope I don't!) they will be the ONLY people I go to! I will recommend Dr Kim and Dr Wan to everyone I know who needs a root canal done! On Friday I started experiencing pain in my front right tooth which I had trauma to when I was 20 years younger. I had called on Friday and Gina had gotten me in for Today and had checked with insurance for all costs and etc. over the weekend I started to experience a numbing pain, I decided to call and see if there was a dental assistant or anyone on call, when I called the office and went through the phone tree, Dr Wan himself picked up the phone and prescribed me medicine to help me make it through the weekend. He was super nice and super polite. When I came into the office this morning I was super nervous! Haven't had any dental work since I was about 5 years old and smart me watched a YouTube video on a root canal! The front desk staff and Dr Kim's assistant (I forgot her name but she was GREAT!) were super nice and made me feel very welcome and comfortable. They have the nitrous gas for nervous people like me and it sure did take the edge off. The ONLY thing I felt was when Dr Kim put the needle in for numbing - literally felt it for like 2 seconds and that was the worse part of the whole procedure! They took X-rays during the whole root canal and continuously kept me updated on what was going on. Over all my root canal took under an hour! And I'm at home a few hours later feeling great! The procedure was quick, no pain, and the staff was great- I'm not a fan of dental work or pain! Prices were great too- they were actually better priced then my dentist and I trusted these guys to do a lot better job since it's their specialty and I'm most definitely not disappointed! read more

In early 2013, I was in extreme pain from a tooth ache and was referred to Dr. Wan. I came in and was very impressed by his practice, employees and professionalism. He performed my root canal with no pain, and very little discomfort. The technology was very impressive and the hygiene was first class. Fast forward to today, September 2015, and I was slowly developing the same tooth ache pain. I immediately called Dr. Wan and Marysville Endodontics. They got me in right away and performed another root canal for me. I had the exact same excellent service and visit, and maybe even a better experience. I was so relaxed and confident in his work, that I actually fell asleep during the root canal! How often does that happen during a root canal? Also, even though it was only a little over 2 years later, Dr. Wan had updated some of his equipment and added some new technology. So, this is easily a 5 star review for an impressive and wonderful experience that I have had multiple times with Dr. Wan. Oh yeah, my wife is also a patient, as well as several friends of ours and I tell everyone I know about him with no hesitation.
