During my 8th grade year there was only 1 week of school left and this happened on a Thursday, there was a fire drill during 2 period and there was a more than 3 fights that day, one at nutrition one after the fire drill and one during lunch. The next day during my 1 period the vice principal and principal had a convo with us about the fights, then at nutrition they had us sit in this sitting area in front of the school then when the bell rang they said that they were gonna have us sit there again 30 minutes into 3rd period more than 15 parents came to pick up their kid and go home. During the weekend parents complained that it was a stupid idea to punish everyone instead of the kids who fought

One of the first things she mentioned was seeing older students, who appeared to be 8 graders, openly kissing on campus. As the parent of an incoming sixth grader, I found this concerning and was surprised that this behavior was occurring at school. It left me questioning the level of supervision during the school day and contributed to a less positive first impression of the campus. I also had an interaction with a member of the school's administration that left me feeling unwelcome. I asked a question regarding my daughter and felt that the response was unnecessarily blunt and dismissive. As a parent trying to gather information, I was disappointed by the way the interaction was handled. It was especially discouraging because this was our first experience with LMI.. When parents are trying to decide whether a school is the right fit for their child, they should feel comfortable asking questions and feel welcomed by staff. LMI do better!

I think this is my second review. My kids were sophomores this year. The school is about a 25-30…read moremin drive for us. All side streets so traffic can get backed up easily. The school has made several physical improvements. Baseball has put in some lighting, fixed their snack bar etc. The athletic room with weights is brand new and looks great! The overall school looks improved too. Regarding teaching and staff- The front desk Elva is the most welcoming abc kindest of people. The faculty cares and I gave my kids the opportunity to transfer back to a local school but they said teachers really care and they teach you. Sounds weird right? You think all teachers at school teaches but that's not the case. Some teachers at some schools are biding their time. My kids opted to stay at CSHM because of the teachers. FYI because of one of our sons playing baseball we have to drive back and forth 3 x a day. That's almost 3 hours. We do it because our sons are excelling here. They take honors, ap and dual college enrollment classes. One of my sons ranked 8th in his class the other 13th. The school recognizes and encourages better academics through recognition. Besides all the typical every school does them recognition they do the following: Special recognition during school where students are recognized in front of their peers. There are different levels like magma cum laude, signs cum laude etc. The kids who rank top 10 in their class get a special free dinner at a restaurant where they are recognized again and families can pay to enjoy a meal too. Lastly for seniors there is a senior spotlight dinner at the end of year. They are selected based on a lot of criteria. Grades, service to community, overall good kid, etc. It's a beautiful dinner in which alumni, admin, spotlighted seniors and their families get to be recognized for the wonderful kids they are. This is a special night. We heart this school. Is it the fanciest of schools? No. They truly believe a good education can be achieved without taking out a second loan on your home. Dr Eric Crespo has made so many great changes to this school. He should be proud! Keep going Dr Crespo I can't wait to see what then next few years bring.

The Best Bingo Experience in Town--With a Heart!…read more I absolutely love coming here for Bingo! They offer the cheapest buy-ins with the most generous payouts I've seen. The layout is perfect--never congested, with a comfortable "two people per table" setup. The customer service is top-notch, and the volunteers are incredibly courteous. Support a Good Cause One of the best parts about playing here is knowing that all proceeds go toward a great cause. It's a win-win: you get to have an amazing time with the chance to take home some cash, all while supporting meaningful work in our community. The Management A huge shout-out to Paul, who manages the event. He is truly the best! Unlike other places, Paul focuses on the players' happiness rather than just the bottom line. He's professional, approachable, and always listens to feedback with a positive attitude. The Schedule: * Tuesdays: Starts at 6:30 PM. * Monthly Special: "Strip Night" (typically a Thursday) with massive payouts. Prizes & Safety They are incredibly generous with giveaways, including cash raffles, pull tabs, and a $1,000 "Must-Go" cover-all card. Plus, you can play with peace of mind--the parking lot is secured with guards, so you always feel safe. I highly recommend this place for a fun, stress-free night out that gives back!

I was 16 years old and I was paying more attention to working and receiving a paycheck than attending school. I had preconceived stereotypes about the students and faculty at Vail High. I imagined rebellious students and unimaginative educators. I was totally wrong. My year at Vail High School taught me to look outside myself and see the people and world around me from a different prospective. Our dynamic English teacher, Miss Adele Levy, was a force of nature. She taught me about the power of speech and how important it was to value the life experiences of others. Miss Levy brought holocaust survivors to our class to speak to us about what they experienced in the concentration camps and provided us with books and films that focused on relationships between people from different backgrounds. Miss Levy taught us diversity and how important it was to value each other. When I think back to Vail High School, I remember that it is possible to overcome obstacles. More importantly, I remember life lessons that I will always carry with me.
