2026 grill update:…read more Avoiding the dentist by "being too busy" cost me a tooth and some extra coin...that said, I can even more fully recommend Atlantic dental because now I've had some adulting major work...not just cleanings and crowns. Like a true team, Dr. Paz handled the below gum work and Dr Tamir, the above...can you tell what I had replaced? Trust this team I've always found this office to be professional and conservative with treatment, if they say you need it, listen before you do more damage with time and decay like me. No scams and it never feels like a car dealership. So in December 2025, they gave me the bad news and coordinated a plan: an extraced tooth, a deep cleaning and a bridge... but of course a month later I had a major life emergency because Murphy's Law...I communicated my situation and we adapted the timeline and got done what i could so I could minimize the decay/need more expensive implants. Many months later just had my first post work done cleaning with my superflossin' hygenist Lourdes...and noone on the street or that I've kissed can tell what I was missing a tooth a couple months back... btw, nothing about my procedures hurt a lot.... except having to use my Care Credit...which they accept and is great if you need 0% financing (just pay it off in time).

I recently had such a bad toothache that the right side of my face was going numb, I was sleeping less than one hour per night and I could not drink ANYTHING for over five days. I was in denial, avoided visiting the dentist and took Tylenol so often as though I was eating M & M's thinking the pain would somehow go away. With that in mind, I put on my, "big boy pants" and visited my dentist to find out what the heck was going on with my tooth. Upon my arrival, i was welcomed back by the entire staff with warm smiles and greetings. The staff here are truly friendly, welcoming and professional. In less than three minutes of my arrival, I was lying on a dental chair awaiting the Dr. Yoon, my dentist. Dr. Yoon has this way of calming me down and getting me to relax immediately as she knows that my anxiety level is always high as soon as I step foot into her office. This visit was no different. Dr. Yoon examined me, had X-rays taken and immediately discovered an issue which would require the dreaded root canal. Due to my time schedule limitations, I made an appointment for a few days later and returned. At my next dental appointment, Dr. Yoon discovered that I had a fractured nerve and that this was causing a great deal of inflammation and was the source of my pain and numbness. Dr Yoon and her staff immediately got to work and in less than two hours, It was all done. The pain, numbness and my anxiety were gone. Wow! It felt GREAT to be painless once again. I have to return in two weeks for a permanent crown on the repaired tooth but the anxiety is no longer there and I am actually looking forward to visiting the best dentist and staff in the world. Completely misleading and unprofessional…read more I had an extremely disappointing experience with Advanced Dental Office, and I would strongly recommend looking elsewhere before committing to treatment here. From the very beginning, the information I was given was inconsistent and misleading. I initially spoke with Elena, who told me I would need braces for about 3 years. That's already a big commitment, but at least it sounded clear. Then I met with the doctor, and suddenly everything changed--different price, different plan, and now I'm being told I need braces for 5 YEARS instead of 3. That's not a small difference. That's nearly doubling the time with zero clear explanation. It felt like a complete bait-and-switch. How does a treatment plan change that drastically from one conversation to the next? It made me seriously question how anything is being managed in that office. What's even more concerning is that the doctor supposedly prides himself on graduating in the top 10% of his class. With all due respect, that makes this experience even more confusing, because the level of disorganization, lack of communication, and inconsistency I encountered did not reflect that level of professionalism at all. There was no transparency, no accountability, and no effort to clarify why I was told two completely different things. Instead, I was left feeling misled, frustrated, and like I couldn't trust anything I was being told. When you're dealing with something as serious and expensive as orthodontic treatment, consistency and honesty should be the bare minimum. Unfortunately, that was not my experience here.
