DO NOT HIRE THIS COMPANY. We had a stamped concrete patio done by General Concrete Services. They…read morefinished in one day. They returned the next morning to seal the concrete. While the slab appeared dry, and hardened, there is still a lot of moisture in the concrete. It appears the oil-based sealer displaced the moisture and created an appearance of water spots. (I have since been told it should have been allowed to dry for a few days to a week). Also, probably because there was no ground preparation done, there are two low spots where standing water puddles, one being right outside the main sliding glass door exit to the backyard. After it rains, we must let our dogs in and out through a puddle of standing water. Also, again because of lack of ground prep, they cut a relief line across the slab to "keep it from cracking" they said. You can see where the saw blade ran off the line and was re-cut. It looks terrible. Roberto Cazan initially said he could fix the sealer spots, but never set up a time to do it. After that initial conversation he refuses to address our concerns and will not answer his phone.

We bid out the work; initially we thought we'd be doing an asphalt overlay over the existing, but they explained and showed us why that was not a good solution in our case and could give us water intrusion issues. For that reason they were not the lowest price since the other companies contacted were willing to go right over the existing. Very glad we moved forward with this company and had it done properly. We've received many compliments and we've been told by other contractors that our asphalt was beautifully done.

Will definitely recommend to anyone in Miami area.

One piece of equipment they brought onsite, a dehumidifier, was actually faulty and added to the mess I already had. I had to stay up all night and babysit a leaking $135 per day dehumidifier. Nice!!!! I'll add more after I see the bill.

He demanded a $2,000 deposit before starting any work, and when I asked for his business address again, he refused to provide any information. Hiring a contractor without proper license and insurance can put homeowners at serious risk--if a worker gets injured on your property, you could be held liable. There are plenty of licensed and reputable flooring contractors available; avoid the headache of working with him. Based on my phone interaction, I would not recommend Yeti Flooring.
