I used to love this place. I've been coming here for years through different owners. After installing new washer & dryers I noticed that the dryers keep the clothes wet. I put the dryer on high 2 times, and my clothes came out soaked. The machines are brand new, so why wouldn't they dry the clothes? I told the worker & she said that she couldn't do nothing about it. I spent money to dry my clothes, so why wouldn't the worker pay & add more time to the machine for my clothes to dry? Or refund me? Nope she turned her back, said she can't do nothing, and kept complaining to other customers about the machine doors being slammed. Very unprofessional! read more

My clothes are ALWAYS expertly handled, cleaned or mended. I've never had a problem with this cleaners (unlike my experience with cleaners closer to me); therefore, I bring all of my clothes that need dry cleaning to this cleaners. read more

So I had 1 small blanket in my laundry and was charge for an additional $20 just to wash it. First I was told the laundry is $1 per pound then when I arrived to drop it off I was told it's $1.30 per pound. Now here's the part about the blanket. The blanket was already in the bag of laundry and weight all together. I get a call saying that I'm going to be charged $20 extra just to wash ONE blanket, ONE THIN FUCKING BLANKET. This blanket weighs less than a pound. So getting charge $20 extra is unfair and unrealistic. I tried calling to speak to the owner and no answer. If you want to get over charged then this is the right place for you. But I suggest going somewhere else. read more

This place is always clean and the staff is great especially Berta who is there every morning. FYI new owners took over recently and changed name I think it's now called Wash Up Express. New owner needs to update and fix washers and dryers. If it wasn't for the morning and afternoon employees I would stay in Yonkers. Thank you Berta for all that you do. read more

The facility is clean and the machines are in good working order. The staff are friendly and helpful. I like being able to park in the front in the parking lot. I live in the Bronx but travel to New Rochelle because it is well worth the extra drive. read more

It's really a shame about this place. The new management (a husband and wife team) are super cool and friendly and they are trying very hard to win over their customers. But one of the employees has such poor customer service skills and is so unpleasant that I can no longer patronize this business. I asked her on repeated occasions not to use fabric softener (I am allergic) but no matter how many times I asked them, reminded them, even wrote the words "no fabric softener" on my bag, this employee was incapable of honoring my request. It's really a simple request, but after the third time finding fabric softener sheets in the laundry I took home I gave up. I gave them three chances to get it right. It's a pity. I'll be trying Mr. happy on Center Avenue. read more

I go to this establishment every Saturday. I find the employees to be helpful and courteous as well as the owner, Bob. Bob always assists me to or from my car, since the bags are pretty heavy. Berta is a sweetheart and she's always willing to help me with anything I need. During the winter months, I do the drop off service and they are wonderful. Everything is beautifully handled and wrapped. They even cater to any allergy requests as to how the clothes are cleaned. The place is very clean and the floors are never dusty (which can be a problem with laundromats.) Rarely are any of the machines inoperable, which is an extravagant change from the previous owners. I recommend this establishment to anyone who has to use a laundromat. read more

If I could leave zero stars I would. I used to come here every week with the last owners. The workers were always so nice. I had to come here at 830pm because my dryer at home broke in the middle of a huge laundry mound. I couldn't let it sit so I decided to run it to the place I used to go. I walk in, put my laundry in the dryer and was approached by the owner. Who told me dryers are for paying customers. I said yes I know I put in money for them to run. He said you put wet clothes in there and didn't wash them here. I told him my dilemma of my dryer breaking and my 11 month old at home who has pneumonia got sick all over the place so I needed to dry what I washed. He proceeded to tell me I would have to pay him an extra 5 bucks to continue to dry my clothing. This is on top of what i paid for the dryer already. Up against the wall I had no choice. I told him he should post a sign saying dryers only for washing customers to eliminate confusion. He said if you asked I would have told you. Ask to pay to use a dryer? He proceeded to tell me it costs him more to run the gas dryer than the washer. I explained that it does not cost 5 bucks to use a dryer for the 15 minutes i used it. He said yes you are right, I will take that 5 now. He then proceeded to condescend me and says have a wonderful evening maam. He started also talking to the worker very rude. Saying he didn't count the coins correct and embarrassing him in front of customers. This new owner is a real greedy a $*hole. read more
