Hannah is really wonderful! She goes above and beyond to make sure our Flynny (who has grooming anxiety) is well taken care of and calm during his grooms. He does not take well to other people, but goes right into her arms when it is time to do drop off. His haircut has been perfect each time and he can get through his whole appointment without issues with Hannah! :) read more

I've been trying to find a groomer I love since my 2 year old pomeranian was a baby. There was always something. He even came back scared, and a totally different dog (temporarily) that was permanently scared of being brushed, after one experience. He still bites me and freaks out while being brushed. I told them he may need to be muzzled and may get nippy. When i picked him up, not only did I cry happy tears at how handsome he looked but she also told me she didn't have to muzzle him! Dogs know good people. I highly recommend Taylor. I don't live on this side of town but I will drive the 30 mins for a trusted groomer for my fur son. read more

Do not take your dogs here unless you want them to be yelled at by staff and treated like crap. I haven't gone in months because of my experience. I brought my dog and muzzled him completely he turned his head didn't lash or anything simply turned his head during a nail trim and the lady scolded him in the rudest loudest way ever like come on he's fully muzzled and he wasn't lashing just turned. She acted like he was the worse dog ever took him to my vet for a nail trim they said he was a perfect Angel. read more

Have multiple experiences to report on: 1) Made an appt with this business on 10/29/2019, a three week wait. Called Dirty Hairy's who could get me in within the week and called Wash and Wags back to cancel. Lo and behold, the day before my cancelled appt I get a text to confirm said appt, called AGAIN to cancel. Was informed yesterday in an extremely rude response to an unrelated google review that I was considered a no show for that appt and unwelcome at their business 2) A friend who has a memory disability documented by Wash and Wags staff was told she could not longer be serviced by the company because she had missed 2 appointments in two years. She has a memory disability and severely struggles with remembering her appts, the company is AWARE of this and has discriminated against her due to her disabilities. A report has been made to the ADA. 3) Said friend left a negative review on google. The owners response has been down right horrendous (see attached photo evidence). Owner has been threatening, disparaging, unprofessional and down right rude to any and all people leaving reviews. The owner has even gone so far as to post my friends home address in multiple reviews and threaten lawsuits for the spreading of "false information." In my opinion this is a VERY sour way of handling negative commentary on your business as it simply promotes more negativity. If given the choice, groom your pet at home instead of ever venturing to Wash and Wags Wyoming. read more

I expressed some displeasure at my dog's grooming when I picked him up was told that shaving his legs was necessary. I said I didn't understand because my previous groomer never had to do this. When I called next time to schedule a grooming, I was told that I am unwelcome there because I called the groomer lazy. (I did NOT.) Apparently, at wash-n-wags you are only welcome to return if you are completely pleased with your dog's grooming. read more

DO NOT GO THERE! I can tell you entire horrible story with them. The point is, they are very unprofessional. They said they were going to shave my Goldendoodle due to mats BEFORE they ever saw her!!!!!!!!!!! I comb her daily and she has no mats. SO thankful all I am out is the $50 deposit that they refused to refund, even thought I called to cancel the VERY next day they were open and 3 days before the appointment. Took my toy dog Molly in for a grooming. I was charged $52 plus tip. I got home and noticed 3 days later that her nails were not trimmed. Also, just a week later I noticed in the sun that Molly's hair was cut unevenly all over. I called and spoke to the manager, Leah and told her my issues and I asked for a refund. She said I had to talk to Ray, the owner, who's office is at their Standale store. What a waste of time. He too refused to give me my money back comparing his Company's services to getting a tank of gas and then asking for a refund. Seriously!?! Also it is my fault because "normally", Ray's words, dogs get groomed every 6 to 8 weeks. But I have only been bringing my little one in every 6 to 8 months. So because I poor I am at fault as well. I was offered to take her back to any store. But they hurt her and obviously only care about financial gain and not customer service. Seriously, would you take your dog back to a place where they actually told you that they made your dog scream!?! OWNER is rude and unwilling to take responsibility for injuring our cockapoo that we had been getting groomed at Wyoming location on regular basis. The evening that he came home after being groomed as I was scratching his neck I noticed a area on his neck that felt like it was sticky. When I looked it was severe razor burn. He is 10 years old and has been groomed regularly and this has never happened. Ray the owner would not give me refund because my dog did get a haircut. And he could care less that I had to pay for a vet visit to get my dog antibiotics. This is how you treat a regular customer???? NOT! read more

It had been a good while since my dog got a full trim and with summer setting in, it was time he had a cooler coat. When I called to make his appointment, they asked his breed and hair type and I did my best to describe him. They said they would prefer to hold off on quoting the cost until they saw him when I brought him in. When I did, they gave a very reasonable quote. They did an incredible job of making him look like a whole new dog. He looked great and as a bonus smelled great too, and not just as though he had been sprayed. He seemed to have not had any distress with the experience and the staff was great with him despite his relative high energy for a dog of his size. With their service quality and price, I think I will be getting him trimmed more often. read more

I'm used to the groomers gathering our information & asking about my pup before seeing him. I walked in and they took my dog right away without any questions. He's a timid dog and they did not use treats or friendly voices to help him be more comfortable. Also, my dog was starting to fall off the table and almost choking from the collar - the groomer snapped at him. Will not be returning. read more

We have brought my dog here the past couple of times and they do a good job, except for the fact that all they want is money. We took him in yesterday and they waited until we picked him up to tell us about a price increase, and the past 3 times they have cut one of his nails so short that he was limping and it bled, this last time being his dewclaw which is hanging on by pretty much nothing. I understand that accidents happen, but they don't tell us and that really irks me. Clearly trying to play dumb in order to get a tip and rushing us out of there as soon as possible. Definitely will not be returning and cannot believe how unprofessional they are. I feel that if there is something that happened with our dog you should tell us, especially if it could cause further harm with an infection seeing as it wasn't just a small cut. My partner and I brought our cocker spaniel, Cooper, here for the first time today. We were very impressed with how sweet the staff were (Carrie, I believe). She asked exactly what we wanted for him. When I asked about time, Carrie stated that it depended on how our dog did. She would begin with "bonding" and then go at his pace because she wanted it to be a "good experience." When we returned our boy looked great and smelled even better. He received a wash, cut, nail trim and anal gland expulsion for $45. VERY reasonable. Highly recommend and we will return!! read more

I took my dog in today to get groomed for the first time. He is one years old. I dropped him off at 11:45 AM. At 12:20 PM they called me and told me that he was very nervous and that it was going to take longer than they thought because he would not get off the floor. they told me that it was normal for dogs to be nervous and they were going to do the best that they could. I offered to go pick him up and they said they would do the best that they could. But that it would take longer. At 1:50 they called me and told me that he was finished. My daughter picked him up at 2:30 and it looked like they hadn't done anything to him but bath him and dried him off. When I called up there the groomer told me that she bathed him and dried him off and that's why it took so long and that she cut his nails and trim the hair around his paws. When I asked if she had even brushed him or trimmed his hair because the hair around his butt was still long and scraggly. She then told me that yes she did brush him and she did trim him some but she can't do everything. I asked her why I had to pay full price if she can't even do what she was supposed to do and she told me that it depends on the temperament of the dog and the kind of dog that it is. But I have taken my other golden retriever in there and they charge me the exact same price and did a lot more. I will not be taking him back there.. I don't care to pay for the services that I receive but not for services I did NOT receive. This does not look like a groomed dog. read more
