My fiance and I had gone in there to test drive a few cars that we had seen on the website and were greeted by a salesman that either didn't like us because we were young, or thought we were just there to joyride because we were young. Needless to say, the experience left a very sour taste in my mouth and I was rather hesitant to return here. Fast forward to last month, my fiance was on the way to Albert Lea from Owatonna on 35 when every light on the dashboard turned on and the Taurus lost power. It chugged it's way to the side of the road where it was towed to a dealer in Waseca. It sat there for a day where they mulled over whether or not the warranty would cover the speed sensor in the transmission and because they weren't sure we opted to trade the vehicle in instead of chancing a several thousand dollar repair. DEML in Waseca only wanted to offer $7,000, Owatonna Ford offered much more. My fiance picked out a Silver 2012 Fusion SEL with almost every available option. It's safe, gets great mileage, looks fantastic, and is an all around stunning vehicle. The salesman we dealt with this time was amazing! Chris was great from start to finish. He was funny, friendly, knowledgeable, and didn't think twice about two 20 somethings in shopping for an almost new vehicle. After this experience I will most assuredly be buying my next car here. I have a Taurus as well and when it is time to trade the ol' girl in I will more than likely be getting myself a new Fusion or Focus. Owtaonna Ford really scored a win, and I would encourage anyone in the market for a new vehicle check this place out!

Low mileage, good condition. HOWEVER, they discovered the minute they got it home, that one of the tires it had on was the wrong size tire for the Van. Instead of comping them a new tire my 70 year old grandpa had to take it in to get all new tires and realign it because of the small tire. We also discovered that the 3rd row seat middle seatbelt (hanging above the seat) is shoved into the ceiling so you can't even pull the seatbelt out. They didn't go over all of the tech pieces with them and they were so confused. My grandmother has attempted to call Nathan many times and he STILL has not answered her back. They completely took advantage of the elderly. It may look like a good deal, but you may pay for it in the end. At least watch for this one sales person, he was slimy. SO DOUBLE CHECK EVERYTHING!!!

Over a several year period, Hyundai and Kia had a problem with the motors - they use a lot of oil. The 10-year/100,000 mile warantee is great for that. Hyundai has test to check if the leak is acceptable to excessive. That requires 1000 miles with no iol added (or removed). We hit our 1000 miles on I-35 at about the MN state line. I tried to get the oil checked and seals removed at several service garages. Everyone was booked up or didn't want to take the time for us, until I called House Chevrolet. They were awesome! they understood the need and what needed to be done, rushed us in for the work, were finished in a half hour, and made the contact with our dealer/garage back home. And I couldn't beat the price of the service.

We went to get a vehicle and we're sent in 30 different directions for a week and a half being told the deal was a go !! Then the day we went to get it I was told I needed full coverage on the vehicle before they could get financing approval as if someone would put full coverage on a vehicle before a deal is even met !! Even my insurance broker said NO !! This man was ready to sell me a truck until he seen me in person I personally feel it's a race issue!! Whatever the case I will take my business elsewhere but I felt I must let others know so they don't get sucked into this situation!!!

I've been to Express Lube several times for an oil change and have never had a problem until…read moreyesterday, 5/1/15. I was informed by an Express Lube employee that my car required a $70 oil change. He claimed that I needed to purchase the synthetic oil (i.e. the expensive oil). I was naturally shocked as I've NEVER paid over $35 for an oil change - including at this very location with this same car. I contacted my car dealership right then and there to see if my car required a fully synthetic $70 oil change and was told that it does not. After getting off the phone, the Express Lube employee tried to pressure me into purchasing the $70 oil change by stating that his guys work very fast and implying that it was too late to turn back. I refused to pay $70 for an oil change, and eventually ended up leaving Express Lube without the oil change. Throughout this entire exchange the Express Lube employee was incredibly rude. He insisted several times that I hadn't ever had my car serviced there, which is absolutely not true. I've never been treated so disrespectfully by someone working retail in my entire life. Needless to say, I'll NEVER be back to Express Lube. BEWARE of this place, especially if you are a female.
