They have kept my brother's 18 year old car humming during numerous 128 mile jaunts to and from college. In addition to fixing my brother's 18 year old car, Jim has also worked on my car on short notice when it has limped back to town and I need it fixed to get back to school. The thing I like best about Jim is he is very forthright in letting the customer know what can be fixed, and what cannot. His work is very reasonably price and I'm certain he never "over treats" needlessly just to charge more. As a woman it is hard to find a car repair shop where I feel comfortable. At Jim's though he always treats me with respect and never talks down to me because I know less than him about automobiles. If you need your car fixed and you live in South Eastern Minnesota this is by far the best place to go!

That is really nice not having to sit at the mechanic's shop for 4 hours (time it took to finish my last repair). Another plus was I was having him do 2 separate things and when I got the bill it was lower than the estimate and he told me because the jobs were done together they had less to take apart to do one of the job's and it saved time and money overall. NICE I would definitely recommend Tim's to other people with the number of times I have been there. It is nice when you can have a good relationship with your mechanic.

For the next 3+ hours AAA and I called various local auto repair vendors trying to connect with anyone who would come help us. He answered the phone and came out and worked on our motorhome, in the dark and in the rain on a hot and humid Minnesota day. He couldn't have been more pleasant and helpful. We sat on the interstate for almost 4 hours trying to get a hold of anyone who would come. I woulds not hesitate to call him again if I ever need assistance in the Faribault or Owatonna area again.
