My friend and I both ordered the ham and cheese breakfast omelet, which comes with two sides. We went with tostones and Cuban toast--both were delicious! I also tried the iced Cuban coffee, expecting something similar to a latte, but it was more like a milkshake. It was incredibly good, though very sweet, so keep that in mind if you're ordering one. The staff was amazing! The gentleman working there walked us through the menu (which had so many great options) and was super helpful and welcoming. I'll definitely be coming back often since it's so close to work--and I'll be spreading the word to all my coworkers!

I've been here a few times and am actually surprised I haven't left a review yet! My friend always orders from here for her home gatherings so it was nice to go in for a meal. The cafe con leche is a generous cup and easy to drink. I ordered a half cuban sandwich and it was delicious. I've ALWAYS loved their sweet plantains and that hasn't changed. The quesitos were pretty good but I felt like the sugar glaze was missing and the dough to queso ratio was a bit off (just personal preference) but tasted fine. The passionfruit smoothie was tart and delicious. I'd say you could certainly split some of these items if you're not starving. The service was friendly and all in all a good experience.

Let's do this: Let's start with the Mofongo. I loved how the bottom of it was crunchy and full of flavor like a pegao. It was awesome. It was flavorful and a generous size for the price. It was fun to eat. And then it was the carne frita. I cannot express enough how much of a fan I am of carne frita. Their carne frita did not disappoint at all. It was great. Nice portion, very seasoned, and it was nice and fried. The service was great. The place was great. I'm giving my lunch 5 stars. It was really good and I would eat here again. If you're in Orlando towards the Lake Underhill area ... I would highly recommend them! Thank you Tainos Bakery!

So far, I have only tried the special steak sandwich but it was so good that I have ordered it twice. This location in particular is very easy to access as it is located right off of the 408 behind the Popeye's on the corner. I am also very impressed with their mobile ordering as what happens is your food gets placed into a locker and you just open it by entering the last 4 digits of your phone number for confirmation. I know I will be back again soon!

The texture--along with that perfect touch of sweetness--in their *pan dulce* (specifically the *piñita*) is truly unique; it brings back memories of the *pan salao* or *pan dulce* from Maracaibo. Pia's serves sweet breads and coffee biscuits as well as coffees and other delicious treats. We tried the dulce de leche cake and it was thick! But with coffee it melted in your mouth. The little rolls I tried were also lightly glazed with sugar and delicious! She also had Dulce de leche rolls that were thick and delicious. Great balance and we really liked those. We also grabs some fresh bread for a dinner side that night. Next visit I am going to try her empanadas. She was so attentive and nice. She is making great use of her tiny store front.
