Also, she came to my house which was such a plus since I was dreading taking my itty bitty newborn to a studio. She sent me some examples of her work and was also upfront about explaining what to expect. She told me her style for newborn pics was to capture them in a natural setting without the heavy staging and flash photography. She also sent me examples of her recent work. Her example pictures helped me understand that I actually like her natural style better ! On the day of the photoshoot, Terial was incredibly professional. I was frantically trying to manage baby who decided to fuss and cry just before she arrived. I didn't even think too much about this when planning the photoshoot but for newborn photo shoots, you really want someone who can handle newborn babies gently and Terial was just that which I appreciated as a first time mom. The entire shoot was exactly as I hoped. Calm photographer, calm baby, beautiful pictures. I really also need to mention that Terial was just so nice as a person. We got our pictures back in just a few days, and I had so many great pictures, I had a hard time picking the ones I wanted prints of. Her camera work, colors she used and how she captured the right vibe were all perfect. So many people I showed the photos to agreed. One last note: as Terial packed up at the end of the shoot, she even arranged my nursery just as it was when we started the shoot, and helped me dress my baby back into her PJs.
