Today on this veterans day marks the 20th anniversary of losing one of my soldiers in our push in Mosul Irak. Yes, definitely recommended when starting out. My son is 13 and was at undefeated boxing where there was no beginner classes. I took him to warzone boxing today and he tried it out and he had step by step instructions to build a foundation. It was great to see the instructors care and help him with his footwork also help him on how to block correctly. I started my journey at 204 pounds and decided to give boxing a try, I wasn't expecting much considering I come from a lifting environment but boy did my first boxing class kick my butt! I can't look back anymore I can't picture myself without boxing, I'm part of the 6AM class and the hardest thing was getting up but once you develop the routine you'll enjoy the morning workouts to start your day of. The facility itself is clean and well maintained before classes I can't say the same during the workouts because you will SWEAT! your shirt will be so drenched it'll feel like someone poured water over you; but those are the results of a high intensity training regime that actually works. Did I mention it's a state of the art facility? I'm talking about HYKSO punching trackers that monitor your punch counts while your punching the bag and are able to detect punching power/output which greatly help in pushing you beyond your limits, 300 punches in 3 minutes or 1,000 punches in 3 minutes the sky is the limit. A lot of people have a problem losing weight but that's because they are stuck in a plateau and that was me before coming here, no matter what I did or how hard I pushed myself I just couldn't seem to lose the extra pounds! Coach Al Franco set me up with one of their "MyZone" heart monitors which track the intensity and calories burnt throughout the workout and set me up with a personal daily goal "burn 1000 calories in 1.5 hours" it has helped me push past my limits and helped shape my life into a better version of myself I've managed to drop weight and just feel overall better about myself; confidence in and outside the ring and that's what a good program does, I'm forever grateful to the Warzone Family Especially head coaches Al Franco and Mike Franco. read more

Warzone boxing gym is a great place. All the trainers are super knowledgable and friendly. Everyone training there that I've met has also been friendly and very welcoming. This is a great place to train, stop by without hesitation, don't be intimidated if you're new or are a beginner, everyone in here is super helpful and friendly. If you have goals you want to achieve warzone will get you there. I've been going to the men's night class. But right before that class there's a teen's class and that class seems like a great atmosphere. Kids all smiling and getting a great workout in at the same time. I can't remember the last time I've seen that many kids OFF THEIR PHONES FOR THAT LONG! It's kind of close to a miracle. There needs to be a warzone boxing gym in every city. This boxing club rocks! They have professional fighters and champions as coaches and makes sure you feel welcome no matter your skill level. Coach Al and coach Daniel are my favorite coaches and they are the gold standard. Knowledgeable, intuitive and genuinely caring about each students progress. My only suggestion is I wish they had more Warzone branded gear so we can rep the club more. If the marketing/merchandise department reads this, the people want Warzone branded boxing shorts (5-7in inseam), more styles for shirts (pump cover style) and cool boxing accessories. Pretty fired up that Warzone Boxing Club is expanding their facilities with this new addition in the Upland area. Conveniently located at the Vanguard Centre off of Mountain and Route 66, its pretty easy to access with plenty of safe parking in a friendly neighborhood. I used to live near downtown Upland and would have loved to have had it around that time, (4 years or so ago) but, I was also part of their other location not far, which used to be near Foothill and Archibald but is no longer there. Now I live by their other location in Rialto (123 Riverside Ave. Rialto Ca). Been with the Warzone Family for close to a decade now, and its been an honor and pleasure training with them and seeing them make champions throughout the years. They truly are a family orientated gym and treat you like one of theirs. Dont get it twisted though, they are definitely about the boxing business being fully engulfed in the fight game from traveling around representing with their amateur fighters nationwide to tournaments, and also locally to nearby towns supporting each one of their members helping them full-fill their goals and ambitions. I am a 42 and was looking for a new gym that would get me back in shape. after researching a few in the area, I found Warzone had the best schedule and workout to fit my needs. I've been going to AM classes for the last two months and I never thought I would look forward to getting my butt kicked every morning. The workouts are intense and the training is great. I went in never taking one boxing class ever and they took the time to show me the ropes. No matter how busy the classes they always seem to take time with you to help you adjust your stances or punches. I feel myself getting stronger and faster every day and it's great. If you want to spar then it's available, if you just want a killer workout then that works too. These guys are awesome all the coaches are killer. After a month I have signed up my youngest boy for the kids class and my oldest son who is an adult now is attending the night class.
