If I could put ZERO stars, I would. (I don't know why yelp says I'm from CA -- we are in Katy.)…read moreHere are the things we learned letting our kids (ages 5, 8, and 10) play in Katy American Little League this season: 1. Winning is the #1 priority at all costs (seriously, ALL costs) - little league is not about having fun and learning and working as a team, only winning 2. A "team" actually means just the 5 best kids doing everything all the time while the others sit on the bench or in right field feeling useless 3. It's ok for coaches to blatantly cheat to win games, for the kids to witness this, and then for the coaches to tell them their team plays with "integrity" 4. Instead of encouraging kids and helping them learn and grow confidence, it's ok to consistently tell them not to swing when they bat so they can get a walk instead of risking trying to get a hit 5. It's ok to blame losses on the kids who aren't the best kids on the team -- in front of the kids 6. When your team is short a player, it's ok to play kids who are the best from other teams in key positions instead of the kids on your own team that are not the best 7. During practices, it's ok to focus almost all of the attention on the 5 best kids and leave the others standing in the outfield learning nothing 8. It's ok for coaches to chew tobacco in front of the team of 8 year olds that look up to them as a role model and then spit it almost hitting the kids' feet 9. It's ok for coaches to not care at all how the above actions are affecting the children on their teams and to point blank say that 10. We will never put our kids through this again

Likely it just being wiped down but not with appropriate product and elbow grease. MANY broken pieces, (the jail house, the wall figures inside the larger play area, hanging soft play pieces that have come undone, just to name a few.). We can for free play around 11am and it opened soon before that. By 12 birthday parties started but neither of the 2 girls upfront walked around fixing up the place. Each house has items that belong in them and they just needed a refresh. Should be a requirement every 30 mins one of the 2 gets up to refresh each space. It took me 2-3 minutes to walk through each, hanging clothes back up in the firehouse, setting food and cans and plates up for play in the kitchen and grocery store, etc. nothing was in any of the other houses, (make up desk house or the dr office). Should have some music softly playing somewhere too.

I spoke with Tim multiple times in order to come up with a game plan. He suggested that we go outside and use their outdoor space to do actual team building activities. What a great idea that was!! My team loved every second of it. We got to the facility and Tim offered us the party room so we could eat and hang out for a bit. While we were doing that, the staff was setting up all the stuff outside. Tim was incredibly accommodating and made sure we had everything we needed in order to have a great time! My entire team had a blast. It was one of our favorite team building events to date. We all got to be kids again for a couple hours and it was wonderful. I highly recommend any company looking to do a team building to keep HIT! Indoors in mind. You will not be disappointed. The customer service and attention to our needs was amazing. We will be back for another team building!
