They complained alot about the following every day: Teachers screaming alot with exception of few. Kids bullying and no one did anything about it until last minute. Some kids got favored over other kids and received more activities such as treasure boxes and etc. I asked them to rate their experience every day from 1 to 10 and in except few days, their rating was never 5. My kids kept asking when they go back to school? They simply preferred to be at school than in summer camp. I had no other choice but to keep them there for half summer but will not repeat this mistake again. It sounded more like a child care facility than a camp. I checked with other families and mostly had the same experience. Although if you talk to customer service, they are very professional and will do what they can to accommodate you but overall the Kidventure is not a fun camp at all. Most camp teachers are very young kids in their teens or early twenties so im not surprised with their level of service. Overall, i wish I had done more research. You can't find any reviews about Kidventure anywhere except in their own website so I wanted to share my kid's experience with everyone else.

They had some good creative art projects for the kids. And the staff was phenomenal! Starting with help in setting up to coordinating the art projects for a group of 20 kids, to serving food and clean-up, the staff was extremely helpful and cooperative. I highly recommend Idea Labs - Energy Corridor for birthday parties!

First off, I was really excited when a new location closer to our home was opening. We've been to…read morecouple of birthday parties and have enrolled in one day camps at the I-10 location. I went to visit the new location after seeing it advertised on their website and it did not exist, no one there and it was empty. Eventually, after several months passing, the Open House invite was sent to my house so we went and it was still not quite ready.. The rooms were there, but no kitchen and only less than handful of computers. You had to use your imagination.. not a great first impression. My son went to the after-school care for a semester fall of 2015 and it was fine, Foster did a good job. When I inquired if they could accommodate 2 days after school care, they gave me a quote that was more than our current 3 days pick-up so I pulled him out. This week was his first week attending summer camp. We elected the pairing of morning and afternoon 1/2 day camps. Mine, Craft and Survive with LEGO and Rollercoaster Design for ages 6- 9 year olds. There was a mix-up in my part by taking my son to the wrong camp and not ordering the lunch in time. Once we were there, I was told they would have a lunch tray for him and it was not a problem. However, I chose to leave a small snack in his backpack just in case he doesn't like the lunch. Good thing I did! He never got a lunch tray, they accidentally gave it to someone else. In the afternoon class, there was a soon to be 10 year old boy (birthday tomorrow) who had put his hand on my son's face and pushed him, they got into a scuffle over personal space. So I called in the afternoon for over an hour and the phone system was not working! How frustrating and unprofessional that we never received any type of communication there was a phone issue and where we should route our calls to, what if there had been an emergency?! Finally, I called the I-10 location and left a message with someone. I received a call within two hours from Adam to address the issues with their phone system, my son's missing lunch, and the bully. We did come to terms and pulled my son out from the afternoon class in the end. The very same week, a very loud false fire alarm went off due to the smoke produced from the cooking class. Kids were escorted out the building and fire fighters cam. This time, email communication was distributed to parents. The unnecessary situation caused much disruption to the classes. Over time and time again, this place has consistently proven to be disorganized and more reactionary than proactive. Adam is the coordinator for all the Idea Lab locations and he may be overreached.. Michelle at the service desk from the Energy Corridor is super nice and sympathetic. However, I just think there could be more improvements with better oversights.

I Should have known something was wrong when I dropped my son off and there were maybe 2 kids in total and 3 with my son. I've been bringing him to adventure kids for sometime now and this by FAR IS THE WORST LOCATION. - 10403 KATY FWY #220 HOUSTON TX 77024 I was charged $107 for 3 hours with my membership. I reached out at 7:33pm before arriving to pick my son up after I noticed that there was stopped traffic. I was told that there would be an additional 1$ FOR every 1 minute that I was late, after 8pm. BUT I was charged $3 per minute. I was also charged for DINNER that my child did not receive nor eat due to his food intolerance (FPIES). I Provided photos and videos of a car accident that backed up traffic. I dropped off my son at approximately 5:15pm and arrive at 8:18pm. I was also denied the opportunity for my child to be released to me after my OVER CHARGED payment was failed for a .50 cents difference AFTER being overcharged . I am a single mother driving Lyft for me and My son.I work extremely hard to provide for my child. I would have not brought him to this location had I know they would improperly charge me. I called several times before arriving on this day to confirm pricing and was lied to and forced to pay. This place is extremely unprofessional and inconsiderate and not an ideal childcare center that they are promoting. They are in it for the money and are OVER CHARGING. Please look into this immediately.

I…read morewas not there for their normal services, which includes kid tutoring and afterschool programs. I was there because my wife wanted something fun and different for my daughter to do on her 8th birthday. You cannot use the yelp deal on a birthday party package, so my answer is a resounding, "I would have, if I could have!" I must start off by stating that the staff is really nice and they genuinely seem to enjoy children. My daughter was having a fairy party, and her and her female friends enjoyed themselves being girly. I must point out that they started off shooting hoops, so no true gender bias here! There were multiple rooms with multiple themes, which included a music room with guitars and keyboards. You know anytime children have a chance to make noise in a place that you bring them to have fun, they will not spare those decibels! The children were treated to dressing as a fairy, designing and building a home that would be in an enchanted forest, if such a thing existed. That included glitter and moss to make sure the house was pretty! The girls also dipped their hands in salts to soften their skin so when they put on makeup and polish their fingers, they were feeling pretty and pampered. All in all, it was a great time had by the girls, and the facilities are decent. The staff ensured each female left happy, so I could not ask for more from them. Professional, friendly staff mixed with multiple activities for your child leads to good memories. Consider them the next time you have a birthday party to throw. Also look in them for the multiple scholastic enhancement programs designed to get your kid growing in multiple areas of life.
