On October 27 2015, just over 3 weeks ago I wrote a check to Warren Tire Center on Pennsylvania Ave E to ship some packages via their UPS service. Today 11-18-15 I had another contacted them to find out why the check hadn't been cashed yet. They got back to me and said they put it in a deposit bag and were sitting on it. I then asked them what their banking policy was on checks because in the past they had taken up to 2 weeks to deposit checks I had written to them. This makes it difficult to balance my business accounts. Whoever I was talking to, the owner or one of his top flunkies then told me I was being and asshole and I was whining over nothing and I should take my business back to Crones Drug Store. Oh that was the wrong thing to say. I lost it and told the person of in no uncertain terms and went back to that hellhole and got today's package back along with today's check. Told them there is never a good reason to swear at a customer, call a customer an asshole and belittle a customer. The guy said he did not call me an asshole or belittle me over the phone. I lost it again, in front of a room full of customers and called him a fucking asshole and a fucking liar.. If I was an asshole I would put a stop payment on the check I wrote on 10-27-15, but the items were shipped, my customers received the items, so I would feel like a thief if I stopped payment. Needless to say I recommend everyone stay away from warren tire center. There are plenty of other places to get tires and minor repairs, at better prices. CRONE'S DRUG STORE now has all my UPS shipping business from now on. read more
