The team there stays on top of shot records, keeping things clean, and give our two their own playtime (important when there is a virus going around). It's a relief to know that we can trust they're well cared for when we need to be out of town.

Upon arriving, I communicated to the groomer that it was his first haircut, and I requested the cut for a doodle. I thought it would be like a large poodle cut. It was his first haircut and had plenty of hair. I never asked to shave him, like they implied. We were just appalled with how he came back looking, and the physical condition he was in. I noticed he was shaved so close to the skin, that it caused razor burns and cuts all over his body. His eyes were blood red, he was crying, and not able to walk. We noticed his behavior due to his skin being blood raw, and had a deep cut on his leg. The fur under his legs looked completely shaved with clippers as if he was cut for an operation, and other parts of the hair were just so choppy, he didn't look like himself. He didn't even smell like he had been washed. He was not matted, the manager kept insisting that would have caused them to shave him. I will provide pictures, video, and a report from our vet, to show that these are not baseless accusation. We called the business immediately and informed them of my dogs conditions, and their response was, "what would you like us to do"? He was matted, and was he a friendly dog? My husband was so upset he went back to them in person, with the puppy, to show them his condition. He was told the dog was being difficult, and they needed to sedate him to calm him down. We were never notified of the problem, nor did we ever give them permission to sedate him, shave him, or treat him as they did. He was being cut with a razor, so how should he behave? He is such a sweet dog, and still a puppy. I can't imagine how bad could he have been. My dog is now traumatized, taking several medications, and going forward will forever be traumatized to be groomed. Our veterinarian said the blood vessels in his eyes were all broken, his scrotum was raw and infected, he had mussel inflammation, and pain in the base of his tail. They finally did give me a refund, money towards the cost of a medical cone, and some medications. While that's all well and good, the money was not the issue. I don't want to necessarily hurt someone's business, but I can't let this go without informing the public. Think twice before choosing a business. You hand over your helpless pet, and you're trusting they will take care of them, but there are businesses and groomers out there that are not qualified. In my case they clearly didn't know what they were doing. If he was so bad, or matted why didn't they just stop, and call me. Now my dog and family are paying the price.

Also back nails matted and not ground as they had said they had done. Our poor little princess. Called to tell facility not expecting anything- and that is exactly what I got- the man that I spoke to told me that this was not something that could have happened and seemed less than concerned about what had occurred at his salon but that it must just be something wrong with my dog. Never offered to refund or even comforting words at all- so we got from here was a dog with razor burn, cut under her arm, over perfumed and now scared of grooming for $50! Won't go back and will discourage anyone that ask to do the same.

He was understanding that my 11 year old girl doesn't like to be caged. They don't cage the animals, but what was nice was that he could squeeze her in if I got her there within the hour. Alisha was the groomer, and Mia loved her instantly. She looked absolutely fabulous when I picked her up! They did everything I asked and clearly they have experience with poodles! We will definitely come back when we visit our daughter!! Way better then the Pet Smart that we have been using in MD.
