We being two women pushing sixty, with little to none other than the drive up there as experience towing, broke down on 22 on our way from NW Arkansas to NE Florida, with our 85 year old dad's Lincoln Navigator in already questionable condition pulling a 31' camper. We called AAA but this is not their review, we CHOSE private pay after waiting in the dark on the side of the road waiting for them but thank the good Lord above for Winfield Alabama. From Cricket and Nikki on the tow truck and flatbed to Carrie and Wayne in the office ending with Jeremy the Ace mechanic (ok it was only a radiator t) hero's come in all kind of superhero suits and this little shop of wonders did us right! The price was dirt cheap but what they called fair and I called good people doing other people right...God is good!

On or around the 27th day of June I took my "Roll Tide" pontoon boat with Mercury 150 to Amory…read moreMarine. I ask that they finish the installation of my ignition switch which had been started by my late brother. A work order was filled out saying "replace ignition switch". On the 3rd day of July Amory Marine called saying it was ready and I owed $799.xx. A couple hours later they said it was $500. The market rate in my area is $100 going up to $250 in other areas to install a ignition switch on boat. On top of that it didn't work. It wouldn't crank and the whole thing turned. I took it back on the 9th day of July 2018 which was first day opened after the holiday and it turned out the choke on the new ignition switch wasn't working and it had to be adjusted. I ask mechanic how he cranked it before and he said starting fluid. Using starting fluid to crank it eliminated the need for the choke to work. He also said he was surprised when boat cranked right up. I informed them about whole ignition turning and mechanic said it was my fault from turning it too hard. I sent a email demanding a refund of $350 for being over charged and switch not being installed right. They responded saying installation was $100 but cranking it was the rest. Work order only said install. I now have to still pay someone to fix the switch. I feel that they should have contacted me if the charge was going to be out of the normal range instead of blind siding me.

Well 2 weeks back I went to Stanford motors to have wheel alignment and tire rotation, along with tire repairs. I have crummy aftermarket wheels. Well everything was okay, but I noticed my steering wheel was off center a little to the right, and due to the rust that's built up in my wheels, one was still leaking. I called to make an appointment, showed up today, and Greg had both the tire fixed, and the steering wheel centered in less than 1 hour. They are a Dodge Ram and Jeep dealer, and my vehicle is a 2000 Ford SUV. They were very professional, and highly recommend them for any make vehicle. They are also a Napa parts store in the dealer, so most likely they have your parts. A great experience all around. I used to live in Vernon, but now 25 miles away in Winfield. Worth the ride!
