I and my family are absolutely disgraced by the treatment from the management of Hipperholme Day…read morenursery. My mum died on the 27th May, following this after my mums funeral I was signed off with stress. The nursery have treated me shockingly since, they paid only one day compassionate leave to attend my mums funeral and have not paid any Statutory Sick Pay considering the effect of losing my mum has had on me and following my GPs advice. This has put further stress on me by not paying what I am legally owed. For a company that promotes caring for children they do not adopt the same principle to their staff. Unfortunately, now I am having to take legal steps to recover the money owed to me, as the company do not wish to engage/communicate.
