I have brought two vehicles to Ferebee because I thought the issues might be too much for my local mechanic. I have now spent $400 to determine that both issues on separate vehicles were too much for them, as well. At least with my truck, they spent some time trying to help before they determined they couldn't. With my car, they put it on the computer and told me I need a new engine (I don't know if this is actually the case yet, but I presume that is the cheaper option these days than opening/rebuilding the existing engine. The charge for something g I could have had a parts store do for free was extreme. To Ferebee's credit, after I complained about the expense, they discounted me substantially. The towing fees seem really high to me, as well. To summarize: two vehicles. No results. Overcharged to have the car towed back to my driveway, where I could have left it in the first place and been in exactly the same situation, but several hundred dollars less in debt. Additionally, the garage was going through some totally understandable issues that slowed service down. However, I had to call them twice, each after a couple of days, just to find out the status of the car. The only reason I did not mark them unresponsive on the review is due to the difficulties they were having. Even then, I think a phone call to their customers letting them know what's up could reasonably have been expected. I might or might not go to Ferebee for simple repairs if my local mechanic is too busy. Not really sure.

They were scheduled to show up between 7 a.m. and 9 a.m. My insurance company called after 9 a.m. to say Crainway had contacted them to advise that they were a little late because of traffic. I called Crainway, and they told me that they were late because their tow truck had a flat tire. After waiting several hours and multiple back and forth calls, Crainway sold me they were 4 miles and 10 minutes from picking up the car. The insurance company called over an hour later to say Crainway had confused my pickup with another pickup, and they were on the way. An hour and a half later, I called Crainway and was told they would arrive in 10 minutes. The driver finally arrived more than 5 hours late. I would give them zero stars, but that's not an option.

When I contacted them about my thoughts, they responded within hours and were excited at taking in my car for the modification. They had my car into their shop within days! They are very busy (And I understand why), but their response and turn-a-round is outstanding!!! More importantly, they had it completed not at the end of the day promised, but before I even woke up on that day. They actually came in early to make sure that I was taken care of. I tell you this right now...I will always go to them for my modification needs. They get you in as quickly as possible and do everything they can to make you happy. They welcome you to come in and take a peak at the build, send you pictures of the progress and give you feedback on what they are doing. Better than that, they treat you like family instead of treating you like you should thank them for the work, then they give you an absolutely honest quote without gouging you to death. Not to mention, every person on the staff is extremely knowledgeable about the business. The last kicker...They insist on doing the best job possible, if they are not comfortable doing what you want they will tell you that they can't do it. But they will recommend where you can go. The last bit was not a personal experience, but from overhearing their interactions with others. This spells integrity, a very rare breed that is lacking in this community.
