Needless to say, not only was my back in bad shape, but my wife's spine was also taking a beating with the rigors of motherhood. We sought the help of a local chiropractor, only to find out that his technique, might have been suitable for field mice, and we found little, to no improvement. Unfortunately for us, we got roped into purchasing a 20 visit pack each. This was supposedly, "the best deal out there," and we had to take advantage of it, otherwise we'd end up paying more per visit if we paid for them individually. What a crock of "bull%#*&" that was. My condition barely improved and my wife and I, ended up just never returning. We should have attempted to get a partial refund back but instead opted to not use him again. Thankfully, Dr. Russo opened his practice shortly thereafter and finally gave us some relief. I could not believe the difference. Dr. Russo was able to accomplish, in one visit what the other chiropractor, couldn't accomplish in a dozen. My wife and I, finally, got some relief. We recently moved out of state but since I still work in Westchester, I make it a point to get an adjustment, every chance I can. Ditto for my wife. Dr. Russo has continued to help tue family and is even helping my 70 year old father with a herniated disc. I highly recommend Dr. Russo, Patty, the office manager, and the rest of the staff. They are caring, straightforward, fair, and most of all, effective.

We made an appointment with an orthopedic spine specialist, who was booked up for 3 months. During that time a friend referred us to Dr. Michael Berardis, who viewed his scans and we started his treatment plan right away with adjustments 3x/wk. By the time the appointment with the specialist rolled around, the orthopedist took a look at his back and sent us for new x-rays. Curve down to 10* and more importantly, NO MORE PAIN!!! The specialist said, "keep doing what you're doing and we'll check again in 6 months"! Dr. Mike has said his goal is to HEAL, and that's exactly what he's doing for my son. We highly recommend Dr. Mike at Berardis Family Chiropractic!

Some of these chiropractors were good, and some were very good. Dr. Esposito, however, is great. He's not just another "back cracker", as he focuses most heavily on stretching. That change in method/focus for my treatment, along with some nutrition suggestions and general good advice in terms of changing some basic habits, has attributed heavily to a seemingly-impossible level of improvement in my spinal and disc health on a recent MRI, compared to a bleak-looking one just five years prior. I only tend to go to his office once every three weeks or so, but each time I leave feeling a little better, and a little wiser.

In addition, for the last few months, I've been seeing the new massage therapist, Gina Trongone (L.M.T), at the Cortlandt location. Gina is a trained professional massage therapist and brings the same client-focused approach to her work as Dr Bruno. She spent time during my first session asking questions and providing options for my treatment, including several different massage disciplines. I've been back several times now and would defiinitely recommend Gina to anyone looking for a great massage therapy experience. I took advantage of a very attractive new-client promotion which I believe may still be available as I write this review.
