He went to the door to the butcher's area and said there's a customer waiting. I walked around and waited for quite some time and finally a woman came out and made it clear I was interrupting something she'd rather be doing. So I told her to go do it and I'd not bother them again. Kept my promise. If I treated my customers like that I would not be nearly as successful as I am.

I am new to Arkansas. My husband and I retired here from the Napa valley. I had the opportunity…read moreto come to your store for the first time roughly 3 weeks ago. What brought me in was your fantastic ads. Of course I jumped on them. The first experience that I had was with one of your employees , manager Kenny. It all started with asking him about the special of the raisin crunch for $1.98 , y'all had run out; he took my name and home number to call me as soon as it was due back in. And THAT is exactly what he did. Y'all just don't know what kind of imprint that made on me and my husband. Wonderful customer service! My second encounter was with John this past Saturday. Once again it was your sales ad. To make a long story short; John went out of his way to bring me two additional turkey breast at a wonderful price per pound. At the end of my transaction John's final words to me was, " is there anything else I can help you with and do you need any help with your two baskets?" My reply was, "no thank you but thank you for offering." His final words to me as I was leaving your store, " thank you for shopping with us." All doing this from both Kenny and John with a smile. My expectations were very high since the BBQ was amazing a few year ago…read more The brisket and smoked turkey were very good while the Texas hot links and andouille sausage links were far below average. The texture didn't seem right as I chewed it. Seemed like it had a filler and very little fat. I asked for 3 BBQ sauces in my to go order. When I got home, there weren't any. I had their BBq with an old bottle of store bought sauce that's been sitting in my refrigerator for months. Overall, great brisket and turkey offset by bad pseudo sausage. And a BBQ joint that doesn't give you the sauce is pretty unforgivable.
